10 days
Has it been 10 days my goodness.. Well like always I have to take it way back to friday the 12th.... Friday I cleaned the house and packed up for Orange County to go to Jeremiah's first birthday party.. We drove down and I helped Sa with the party stuff and hung out with Teri, Glory, Christine, and Shawne. We had So much fun making fun of each-other and putting Jeremiah's party together. i think the preparation for the party at least in in our family is sometimes more fun than the party it self. Saturday We woke and Headed to Atlantis play-center for Jeremiah's first birthday and boy was it a party there was TONS of people and food, games, cotton candy, grab bags, balloons, cake and presents It was so much fun . Saturday night we went back to Sa's and opened Jeremiah's presents there were far too many to open at the park . He got so much stuff. I bin full of clothes, toys, toys, toys and and Cadallac escalade, LOL He is going to be pimpin'.... Sunday We woke up and drove home and when we got home Harvey and Mary were here for Christmas . My mom already had 3 or 4 loads of laundry done and dinner ready when we got here LOVE THAT .... Monday morning we got joshua off to school and I started Christmas shopping and Coco and I went to Costco and we also baked for the cookie exchange . Tuesday was book club and April brought Anthony and Addy over to play then we we were off to the cookie exchange , Very good cookies and lots of fun ...We also had a dryer accident on tuesday we washed a pen with some of Isaiah's clothes and diapers that I had borrowed from Pam . UGH .. Nicole came over we all worked to get he stains outof the diapers. Wednesday My sister, mom and I went to State Farm for lunch and to shop in the company store then we went to the good stuff It is on Calloway and Brimhall and it is a thrift store that I love it is called the good stuff and yes hence the name their stuff is GOOD... Thursday was my birthday and I turned 31 ugh ... I had a great day we took the kids to valley plaza to get their pictures taken with Santa.. Then we came home and Raima and I went out just the 2 of us and then we went to TJ Max to do some Christmas shopping. I had a great birthday My mom bought me a watch and I received lots of phone calls from friends and family Joshua bought me a beanie and shoes and my sisters and I are celebrating on January 3rd. Friday Raima volunteered in Joshua' classroom and made ginger bread houses... We did some shopping Raima raked the yard and Griselda came. Saturday was the Crandall Christmas. We had a prime rib dinner and exchanged gifts with Nicole and Linda. Everyone was here all day we made cookies and ginger bread houses and had a wonderful dinner and hung out ALL day with each-other.. Well I am finally caught up to today and we woke this morning and went to church .

Twas the Night
Twas the night before Christmas, I'm glued to the tree.
I'm wondering what Santa brought just for me.
Could it be Cardstock, or Chipboard or Lace?
Or a Cricut Cartridge, I said, with a smile on my face.
And that's when I heard him, "Hi Santa," I Said
"You know Sarah good girls should be in their beds."
"I know I should Santa and now I've been Caught."
But I was so excited to see what you brought!!
"Well let's take a look in this Scrap room where you work."
He shook his head QUICKLY, and left with a jerk.
I heard him exclaim as he put up his gear.
"You've got enough crap, I'll see you next year."
Thanks Bonnie from Scap-n-away!

Tuesday morning and we have a lot to get done around the Lefotu Lounge.... Raima has to get our couches and move the old ones out and our 'NEW' ones in . Our $75.00 Maroon Masterpieces are in the garage we are giving them to the first person that drives by needing ugly couches, LOL... I cleaned out Johua's room and closet to get ready for Winter and Christmas I know little late I put away summer clothes and in winter went through the tubs in the garage Blah Blah Blah.. three bags of trash and two piles for the good will we were finished. Wednesday morning Raima worked in Joshua's class and I stayed home. Then off the Costco we went . I bought a beautiful wreath the was $40.00 for my front door. I have been wanting a wreath for a couple of years now and I bought one today and today it will not fit on my door that is right I would need 2 of my doors for this sucker what was I thinking obviously I wasn't I thought it would fit but it DOES NOT .. So I hope I can take it back or some one is getting a wreath for Christmas. Tonight was our MOPS leadership dinner at Sue's house. We had a beautiful dinner and the played NASTY Santa.. It was a lot of fun I brought a soup-mix,homemade to and from tags, personalized ornament, chocolate covered pretzels and some bath salts for my gift and I stole a GREAT one. Eve brought rosemary walnuts, cranberry cheese-balls and coffee cake. So that is what I came home with I was very delighted I ate the walnuts on the way I love them so much Thank you Eve..!!..Well I better get to bed tomorrow is a minimum day so I can't take a morning nap with Isaiah LOL. 13 pounds of Brown
Thursday we came home from OC. Raima went back to work and I was super tired from the trip to OC. Friday I completely forgot to set the alarm for preschool and Pam knocked on our door at 7:45 to pick Joshua up and we were all still ASLEEP!!!!!Thankfully Mark her son forgot his back pack they had to go back home and get it and we got ready super quick and she came back to get Joshua and they made it to school on time UGH..Saturday I didn't feel very good, I was supposed to go to class kick off at Simply Scrapbooks but never made it. Linda picked up Josh and took him to go watch Brett's band play.I tried to take a nap..... Sunday morning we woke up and went to church, seems like it takes forever to get out the door by myself.1 four yr. old with a jacket and untied shoe,1 infant carrier with baby,1 diaper bag,1 breathing machine,1 bible bag, 1 set of keys, and myself all dressed and ready. We get to church ,sit down and BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. Yes the breathing machine sounds off. The cable came unplugged and then 30 minutes into service BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. It sounds again.I swear it never goes off until we are somewhere quiet and crowded....I couldn't figure out why it kept sounding off. So I turned it off for the rest of service. Service was GREAT. We were given a mission for the week to invite someone new to church . I invited Nikki and she is coming on Sunday if we get home on time from OC. Yeah Mission accomplished. Today I picked up the kids from preschool and went to Pam's to see her new dining room table that is beautiful BTW. I showed her Isaiah's belly button hernia because it has got bigger and kinda scary looking. So Pam told me to call the Dr and they wanted me to bring him in . So we went to the Dr. at 4:30p His belly button is fine he still has a hernia and it will go away. They went ahead and did his well check for 2 months because he will be 2 months on Thursday. 13 lb. 13 oz and 24 inches long. Him is my healthy boy.......Him is gonna be big like his daddy .. LOL.... Oh I found out why the machine kept going off on Sunday the strap cable was loose and I ordered a new one today and the machine is ALL better.!.!.

I was up all night Saturday watching Isaiah breathe..... literally . I could not sleep . Raima got home at 1:30 am Sunday morning and relieved me for awhile but around 4:30 am he came in and woke me up because he was super tired. I got up and finished up the morning watching him sleep / My sister Nicole came home Sunday from my moms and brought us the charger. WOW what a long night . anyhow Sunday we went to church and then over to Nikki and Moe's to hang out . Moe took us out to dinner and we just hung with Auntie Nikki we didn't get to see her for Thanksgiving so we were missing each-other... Monday back to the NORM . Preschool and laundry from the trip . LIFE.. We did go to the see the lights at CALM Monday night with the Evens family. kinda becoming a tradition we have been the last 3 years with them . It is always fun the kids and adults rode the train and carrousel and we had hot chocolate and kettle corn and of course and apple dumpling. Tonight the SSSC club met at Star-bucks to plan our menu for the next 3 months. That is the Snobby Sister Supper club. We have been preparing dinners for each-other for about a year and 2 months now and we LOVE it. Wednesday we headed to Orange County to see Raima's Mom and Dad before they leave for Samoa. It was a nice trip we woke on wednesday morning and I made supper . Wednesday is my cooking day!! and then we were off to the big city. We arrived in Orange county about 1:30p. Exciting it was the first time Isaiah met his grandma,PaPa, Aunties, Uncles, and cousins on my husbands side. They were all very excited to see him and he slept through it all. LOL.. He is so cute he was passed around from arm to arm and never even knew what was going on. Joshua on the other hand was SUPER excited showed off his songs and hung out with his favorite uncle JR and played with his cousins. Auntie Shawn took him to target and bought him a dinosaur. He had a lot of fun. My house is al decorated for Christmas . We got out all of decorations on Tuesday after a inspiring meeting at MOPS . I came home and decked the halls. Living day by day
Wednesday was supper club and I made Sliders and Pumpkin dip...Thursday Griselda came and if you don't know who Griselda is you SHOULD!!! She is my housekeeper and I love her!!! She is fabulous.. I love it when she cleans our house. It is so relaxing to know that everything is clean. I get so much more done knowing that Griselda is coming to clean and I don't have to worry about it . I always tell my husband when we look over our budget Griselda is #1. I can live without anything else but not without Griselda....A clean home is a happy home.. My cousin Mona and her son Brooks came over thursday to stay the night He had Knee surgery here in Bakersfield they live in Ridgecrest. It was so nice to see her. She just loved Isaiah. She gave him a bath and put to sleep . Held him the whole time she was here......Thursday was a minimum day so I had to pick up Joshua at 10:30-am so after I picked him up we went to Target to go shopping. I found 5 shirts for $3.74 each.. What a bargain. We bought daddy some new slippers for $9.00.. We love Target. It is so cute right when we pull up to park Joshua says. Mom do I get to buy a toy or no toy? . Mom yes or no? He wants to know before we go in if I am going to buy him something if I am going to get him a toy he wants to walk,if I am not buying him a toy he wants to ride in the cart. He is good If I tell him no toy he doesn't ask for one. Anyhow shopping with 2 boys is much different than shopping with only 1. I was in and out because I didn't want Isaiah to wake up . Joshua said Mommy we went fast in Target huh? He is used to taking our time and buying popcorn and a slushy. HAHA...Not any more!!! Not for awhile!!!! Friday Pappy was not feeling very good He was having a hard time breathing and kinda sounded like he had pneumonia.. I made him an appointment and took him to the Dr. at 12p. He had a chest ex-ray and they gave him a shot of steroids and some antibiotics. He is feeling better today. Now that was a trip I had a 5 week old , a 4 yr. old and a 91 yr. all in the Dr. office. I have one that forgets to breathe and one that is having a hard time breathing and one that wants me to to choke him until he stops breathing.....That was a long day a the dr. and radiologist.... Today is Saturday and we are watching cartoons and packing for Trona!!! We will be gone 6 days .. I can't wait to see my mom and dad...My mom can hardly wait to see Isaiah she hasn't seen him since he was 6 days old .... She calls everyday to check on him and she is so excited to see him...I am in charge of appetizers for our Thanksgiving feast for 50 people.... YES Nikki there is 50 people in Trona HAHA.. any ideas on appetizers for a crowd let me know... Until next time my friends!!!!

Monday Raima took Joshua and his little friend Anthony that lives next door fishing. They went out to Ming lake. He caught one fish. He said the boys had more fun playing with the worms than they did fishing!!!! It was a very busy day for me . I had a DR apt. I went to Winco with Isaiah to do grocery shopping. I drove to Traders Joes to pick up a fresh turkey and a donation that they made to our MOPS group. I went to Albertsons to but the Monday Meal Deal . I had to call United Airlines for my sister. I was busy all day . CoCo came over for dinner tonight and brought the gift card from Vons that they donated to our MOPS group. It was very nice to spend time with her after such a busy day . She gave Isaiah a bath and hung out until bedtime. I called all the girls to remind them of our meeting it was my tables turn to provide food. We prepared a Thanksgiving feast. I made the turkey . My first turkey ever and it came out Fabulous. Super moist and tasty I was very proud. I also made a red velvet cake. MOPS was nice today Sue spoke on teaching your toddlers about money and tips about how to handle our own money . Very informative. I learned a lot today . Reflections ministry also came and spoke. We made home made coasters and shared great ideas about how we can save money this holiday and make our own gifts. I shared. My homemade soup jars, a scrapbook, homemade card, decorated paint can, and bath salts. After MOPS, I came home and tried to take a nap and hang out with Raima before he went back to work. Then tonight was Book-club . The 3rd Tuesday of every month we meet at the local scrapbook store to share what we have made for the month and hang out with other scrap-bookers to share techniques and ideas. It is always fun to see what the other ladies have created. Tomorrow is supper club and I am making turkey sliders. I am going to fry ground turkey and wrap them in puff pastry and bake until brown . Nikki showed me how to make them on Sunday. I am also serving Pumpkin Dip with Gingersnaps. I got the recipe off Scrap-n-away blog. It is seriously delicious......... Joshua is doing good in school Raima volunteered in his class today and had a blast with all those 3 and 4 year olds. I am glad he like to go to school with Joshua because personally it is no fun for me a. It is a Co-op preschool . He attends 5 days a week from 8 - 11:30 and we have to volunteer twice a month . Raima enjoys spending time in the class he is such a good dad!!!! My strengths I guess are in different areas NOT the class room ... LOLOL.... Until next time ..... Praying for April and Family . Praying for Klyee to be healed!!!!

Yesterday we went to CALM . It is the California living Museum. We had a lot of fun . Joshua loved the bears and the snakes and he played on the playground for a while. Then we came home and Auntie Nikki came over with Chocolate-cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. I just love when she comes with goodies. She is a very good cook and and baker. We all went to the
China-man's for dinner or at least that it was Pappy calls it. It is Panda Palace on Wible. They have very good food. We had a full van . Myself, Raima, Joshua, Isaiah, Nikki, and Pappy. Then we came home and rented Just add Water. It is a movie about Trona. My home town. Not a very good movie. but it was filmed in Trona and Nikki and Raima gave me a hard time the whole night. But I'm from Trona couldn't be prouder so WHATEVER. LOL... Today is church and Olive garden I asked Raima if he could please take me to Olive garden I haven't been there in so long. Isaiah is doing ok. His machine went off 3 times last night. Kinda scary but I am thankful that I have that machine. When he stops breathing we just have to stimulate his feet or hands and he remembers to breathe again. Joshua slept on our floor last night UGH . I swear that kid is going to be sleeping on our floor when he is in high school . He starts out in his own bed but around 4 or 5-am he finds his way to our floor. He makes his little bed on the floor with blankets and pillows. Then finsihes up his night in our room Well I better go get ready for Church .

A Very Long Week !!!!!
Monday was Joshua's 4th Birthday and we made some grab bags for his class . I woke extra early and took him to school to deliver the bags and my now 4 year old. Wow time flies..... After school ended we went Target to get him a birthday toy . We came home and baked him a cake and took his baby brother to the Dr to get circumcised.... While at the Dr. She noticed that Isaiah was having trouble breathing and his heart was beating extra fast . She admitted Isaiah in the hospital for 48 hour observation. I called out to God and put this all in his hands. It is out of my control and I have faith that he will take care of my little man.. Thank you to ALL that came to hospital and all that prayed. It worked. The power of prayer is something magnificent. Thank you Nicole for the email and and Thank you most for making Joshua's birthday unforgettable. I love you !!!!! I don't know what I would do without either one of my sisters. Nicole took Joshua for 3 days and made his 4th birthday fabulous . and Linda sat day and night at the hospital with us . Thank you !!!!!Isaiah has been diagnosed with periodic breathing and sleep apnea. The Dr sent us home with a monitor for his heart and lungs. Sometimes Isaiah forgets to breathe and the alarm sounds . We stimulate him by rubbing his feet or hands and he remembers to breathe again . I think he is just trying to play tricks and hold his breath.. LOL.... I have to find some way to deal. He will have to be on the monitor for probably 6 months and by then he will grow out of this. For now the Lord is taking care of him and the monitor is letting mommy get some rest. We came home from the hospital on Wednesday and it was a long night but we managed. Last night was much better.... Today is Halloween and my Little man took some pictures at Candras Fall Set-up . She posted a few . I love her and the pictures. Thanks Candra. Batman and his Daddy went trick or treating and We hung out here and passed out candy... Batman was tired early so he came home to help his brother pass out the rest of the candy . Auntie Nikki came over and he had a great night. Please continue to Pray for Isaiah and our family and Thank you again to all my FRIENDS and FAMILY for your support through A VERY LONG WEEK !!!!!!

Saturday morning cartoons
2 weeks check up yesterday with Dr. Klis went OK . I have damaged nerve in my right leg and it is going to take awhile for it to heal itself. There is nothing they can do except pain medication. On our way home from the Dr we took Isaiah to Joshua's class to show the kids . He has been asking everyday if he can bring his baby brother to school. All the kids were excited and Joshua was so happy. We all slept in today and then woke and watched Saturday Morning cartoons together. What a great day it is the only day of the week that we do not have some where to be and something to do . I love Saturdays because you all know I do not like routine or schedules and Saturday is the only day we get to RELAX and have fun. Be free and do what we want to do when we want to do it . FAB
The last couple of weeks have been great as far as meals... I have not cooked ONCE in 13 days how FAB is that. My MOPS group has brought meals everyday that Isaiah has been home excluding Saturday and Sunday and Auntie Nikki took care of us those days. I don't have to cook until October 30th. Except on the weekends. I am very GRATEFUL to have this ministry in my life. The girls are so nice, the meals have been super and the gifts and support I can not thank them enough. Thank you. We took Isaiah to Walmart today and there was no one taking pictures the girl was just standing there so we had her take his picture. Oh they were cute and the package was only $4.88. Not bad. Mona and Shorty came to visit today from Ridgecrest. Brooks had a DR apt and Mona brought Shorty to see Pappy and they stayed awhile to visit and play with Isaiah . It was nice to see Mona. Pappy bought us Pizza and we had lunch outside it was a very nice day to be outside. Isaiah even sat outside with us for a little while. Baby is crying Gotto Go!!!!!

DR
My dad is out of the nursing home and my mom took him home last night . When she got him home his blood sugar was 569 and she was in a panic she had to drive back to Ridgecrest to get him quick acting insulin . She finally had it controlled at 2 am this morning . My poor mother she has been through so much the last 3 months with my Dad. My dad had 12 mini strokes in August and he hasn't been the same since . He is still recovering and can't hardly walk or use his hands. He has been in and out of the hospital trying to regulate his blood and get the strokes under control. They decided he was doing OK enough to come and stay awhile when Isaiah was born . They were here a week and he got a cut on his hand and could not get the blood stopped. So he called his DR and they wanted him to go to LAB to get his Pro-time checked to see how thin his blood was. It was dangerously thin and My mom had to drive him to Ridgecrest at 11:30 p.m. to get him admitted in hospital . When they arrived at hospital he fell in parking lot and injured his arm and that is why he had to go to the nursing home because he can not use a walker to walk or feed himself due to his injured arm. The place was super depressing and he checked himself out yesterday and went home. My mom is going to try to get some type of therapy at home. I just PRAY that he gets better and that my mom has peace... We took Isaiah to the DR today he gained 1/2 of a pound over the weekend . He is 8lb 2 oz exactly what he was a birth . His jaundice level is 6.2 and they want us to go back on friday to check his billi and get him circumcised. Pappy also went to the DR today because his annual blood work came back urgent... his Potassium levels are super high and Kidneys are not dong well. He sees a specialist on Monday and is taking some laxative to get the potassium levels down . He gets rechecked on thursday for that.. So DR DR DR. This week for the whole fam damily ......

PULL UPS ??????
Sunday is here already and I must say I am still tired.... Yesterday OMA, (Wayne's mom) came over and stayed for a couple of hours in the morning to see the baby and let me get a shower and helped with Josh's breakfast . Then Nikki came over to get Joshua and take him away for some much needed attention . They went shopping and the back to her house to play . She brought over dinner and dessert when we were finished we watched a movie . Whale rider very good. Linda also came over yesterday and went to Target for me and did a little around the house. I had her go to Target to get a Pull Ups. Yes I said Pull ups UGH .. I can not keep washing Joshua's sheets and the last couple of weeks it has become a bad habit . He is peeing the bed almost every night. So instead of changing the sheets almost everyday I am going backwards it feels like and putting back in pull ups at night. I told him he will get a nice reward at the end of the week with no Pee-Pee in the pull up every-night . I also told him that He is not aloud to Pee in that pull up and he was going to be in trouble if he did . So I hope I scared him . HAHA. Not much scares that little boy . He has been such a hand full every since we have brought home Isaiah . Anyhow I guess we will get through it . Sunday is here and a Nicole came over and did all my laundry and helped with Joshua all day .
The Evens family also came over today to see the new edition. Addy loved the baby and. She just smiled and wanted to look look look at the Baby. Thank you guys it was nice to see you all.....Well both of the boys are sleeping so I guess mom should be too. SARAH

Got Milk?
Raima took Isaiah back to the Dr today to make sure his jaundice levels are going down . His levels were 9 and now they are 8 they have to be below 5 before they will circumcise him. I was proud of my hubby he took him all alone to the DR. That is a first . We picked up a pizza from King Leo's on the way home to get Joshua from preschool today . We are going to have his party there we decided today . Please mark your calendars Nov 1st. Saturday 7:30 p.m. . Especially Anthony!!!! He is top on our birthday list this year and his cu-tie patootie sister too.......We came home and it feels like all I have done today is Nurse, Nurse, Nurse and then Nurse some more. Ugh it is tiring but I know it is worth it I just keep trying to tell myself that..... We had dinner delivered from a lady in my MOPS group today her name is susan and it was the bomb!!! Lemon chicken, CousCous and rolls with chocolate cake,, I haven't had to cook all week and that has been super great!!!! Joshua is adjusting to being a big brother . He is just always in the mix . Helping with burping, bath, changing and just anything he can try to help with . It is frustrating but I am being very kind to him I know his world has been turned upside down the last couple of days .. Ray went back to work tonight and I have cried for 2 hours... I want him home but I know he has to work . I wish he didn't I can't wait for these 4 days to go by so he can be home with me. I guess I will sign off now Boobs and all and I mean Boobs WOW they are big and full and I feel like a milk machine. !!!!

14 days since my last post
Sorry..... Ugh It has been a very long long 2 weeks. My Mom and Dad arrived. My phones all quit the same day. My belly was super huge. My son is a monster. My house was a wreck. My husband is my husband. Ugh . Finally October 10th we went to hospital to have our baby . We arrived at 5 am and was admitted to the triage for surgery. 8 am exactly we had a new baby boy he weighed 8 lb. and 2 oz. We named him Isaiah Maae Lefotu . He was just perfect. He did have a little problem he was have baby trembles and they though he had some bleeding in the brain . The did an ultrasound and blood work and everything was fine so the sent us home on Sunday . The 13th was a exciting day we brought our new baby home and granny and papa, Pappy and our new big brother was there to greet also the huge stork in the front yard(thanks Carrie). We were very happy to finally have him home and Joshua was very excited. He is a good baby he is nursing good and sleeping ok . The first couple of nights he slept good but last night oh man he wanted to have a party !!!! And i didn't feel like partying. Thank you for all that called and emailed and prayed for us while we were on our baby journey. Mom is tired and Dad is seeing just how much mom actually does around here . Supper club
today is wednesday and it is my day to cook....... Ugh... We are having BBQ ribs in the crock pot and root beer floats not too bad my husband helped me with the ribs and I took the easy way out on dessert tonight .. give me a break I have big belly!!!! My supper club is so fabulous..Here is how it works on tuesday Eve delivers dinner homemade to my family and Pam's family and wednesday I deliver to Eve and Pam . Pam then delivers dinner on thursday to both of us and that only leaves a couple night a week I actually have to cook myself... Being a stay at home mom and on a budget you have to eat at home every night to expensive other wise. So supper club is a good way to keep some fun and variation in dinner time. Other than that is has been a pretty quiet day Joshua went to preschool and he had to take chicken broth, onion and carrots because they are making stone soup. He is very excited about that. Nicole came over this afternoon and brought us lunch she went to Jake's Tex Mex.. YUM YUM Their salads are so yummy . After lunch she took Josh to her house to hang out until after dinner Yeah . it's quiet . Ray and Moe took our couches to weatherby's today so my living room EMPTY for a couple of weeks until we get our new couches back . Our couches had a manufacture defect and they are replacing them . Big Harv and Mary Crandall will be here tomorrow and I can't hardly wait . That is my Mom and Dad. Love them .

Virgin
Well here it goes.... I am a virgin blogger and this is my first entry. I am excited about getting a blog started. I usually keep a daily journal so I guess I will just do it on the computer from now to share.... Went to the hospital yesterday for my Dr apt. and We (Ray josh and Myself) were there for 4 and half hours Ugh . I had an ultra sound and it showed the baby was 7 10 oz and then I saw Dr. Klis and he checked my cervix and it was a big 0. I had to have a non-stress test and then blood work . My blood pressure was high so I had to lie on my side for 30 minutes and recheck pressure . It was still high so he put me on bed rest. Now we are just waiting for toxemia results to come back . So needless to say today I am very bored..... Thought I would start my blog since I have to stay in bed for the next couple of weeks. Ugh only 10 more days and we will have baby Isaiah. I think that will be the little guys name not sure yet though.
