August 3rd

Today I went to Lawhorns to help Carrie clean out her kitchen cabinets..FUN !! I love to organize and get rid of stuff..Especially other peoples stuff!! It is much easier to say do you really think you need that? If it isn't yours..LOL....We had a great time. She got rid of a lot of stuff for Goodwill and the kids played and played and played! We laughed until our belly hurt and Ty and Vaughn came over and hung out! All in All in a was great day! When we left there I dropped the kids off to Linda and headed to Sue's for our meeting about our Nashville trip! I can't wait to go to Nashville and attend the MOPS convention! I didn't have my camera today so I am gonna look through Carrie's pics and find one of the kids for today! HEEHEE

2nd Annual CBC MOPS Scrap-booking fundraiser....We had our annual fundraiser for MOPS at Simply Scrapbook this year. 27 crazy women signed up to scrap all weekend and help raise money for MOPS! We raised a little over $1600.00 and had a fabulous weekend. Lots of local businesses and friends donated raffle prizes and food for the weekend. We scrap booked all Friday night and all day Saturday! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported CBC MOPS and to all those who donated and volunteered to make this a successful fundraiser! Today is the Lawhorn Poker Party. Swimming,Poker,hanging out with friends and celebrating Brody's 4th birthday. It was a great day...although I did not take Dan's money at poker it was still fun. We had BBQ burgers and hot dogs. Rockin' artichoke dip and Carrie's homemade salsa. A good time had by all. We are having a fabulous time at Lake Lopez. This morning we decided to launch the boat and go tubing. So we all pile in and pack up for a fun filled day! Ice chests, easy ups, and the boat. We are sure to have a good time. Well.... we get to the boat launch along with 25 others(literlly) and get in line to launch! There is a man at the bottom of the launch with 2 jet skis. He is taking a LONG time and has lots of people waiting!. We patiently wait for this very slow man to finish and as he was pulling his truck up the launch to park he drove by us and shouted to us how stupid he thought we were and that we should have used the middle launch instead of waiting also calling us some not very nice names. Now I am not sure if you know who I am married to or what he looks like, but he is a very large samoan man and my sisters husband is just as big and tall. In my opinion not a very smart thing to say to 2 very large men. Let alone their families. So Wayne gets angry and Ray as always kinda keeps his cool.(First I just wanna say I dont know why this man would say these things knowing that he has to walk back down the launch ALONE and get his jet skis. That was the biggest mystery.) So as he is walking back down the launch he immedialty starts to apologize and explain what a bad day he has had and how sorry he is .... Wayne explains to him that he is "going to be sorry in a minute pal" if he does not get his butt down the ramp and get his "crap" out of our way.I am using my blog profanity sensor today for sure. Wayne also pokes the man in the chest (a couple of times)!! Oh my he was now really sorry that he had spoke to us like that and scared. There was a ranger close by and ended up taking a report and the man moved his jet skis. We launched our boat and we were off for a some tubing. we laughed about it all day. "your gonna sorry in a minute Pal" about everything ALL DAY!!. Isaiah your gonna "be sorry in a minute" if you don't take a nap. Joshua your gonna "be sorry in a minute" if you don't behave. and so on and so on . So we have a new family joke. Your gonna be sorry in a minute Pal!!!

a Safari with Survivor Man-21st

This morning we woke and Wayne has the flu-Yuck.
Everyone else except for Myself and Isaiah and of course sick boy went to little falls big falls.They hiked to the falls and jumped off the rocks.fished for salamanders and brought them home in an ice chest.Saw a bear and some deer.It was a great adventure.. Raima cracked us up when they all got back to camp he said they had went on a safari with survivor man (Brett). I had a good time at camp with Isaiah we cleaned up a bit and listened to music. I gave him a bath in the sink and he took a little nap while mom had a couple of Smirnoff Ice. It was a good day. Raima made tacos for dinner and Linda and I went in to town to get ice and Wayne some medicine.

July 20th

ok so here is the master plan. Raima took Brett's truck to work last night and Linda,Brett,Joshua,Isaiah and Myself are driving the truck and trailer to Lake Lopez. Wayne,Nicole,Tanner and caleb are following in their motorhome . Raima works in Lost Hills. So it is closer for him when he gets off work at 12 to drive from there straight to the lake. We arrived at the exact same time to the lake and set up our camps. the kids took a walk around the campground and we had rib-eyes for dinner and salad and garlic bread Yum-Oh. We built a camp fire and made smores. Laughed a lot and had a great time. Tomorrow is the little falls big falls hike. See you in the morning!!!!

JULY 19TH

Well my house looks like a hurricane hit it. We are packing and getting ready to go camping. Linda and I are going shopping groceries and some stuff for camping. Nikki is going to come by and bring dinner to Pappy every night we are gone. Thaks Nik. and we are very excited to get out of this heat and to the coast for some family fun.

July 17th

I am packing the trailer for our camping trip. I have decided that I do not want to have to pack things from my kitchen to take camping. So Over the past couple of months I have been going to yard sales,goodwill and the dollar store to stock my trailer.. I have been very successful in finding everything. So I took my old raggity towels out of the my house and put them in the trailer. I had an old bathroom set of rugs and matching towels. I put those in the trailer. It also gave me an excuse to buy new towels and rugs for our house YAY!! My mom gave us some queen sheets and a comforter set for the bed. I bought a first aid kit and fire extinguisher. For the kitchen, I made a list of everything in my own kitchen that I use. Then as I bought the item I would cross it off my list. Soon I had my entire kitchen. Here is my list:

Also my mom saves all her sour cream,cool whip and butter containers. Washes them and I out those in the trailer and we use them for cereal and storage during our trip and then we don't have so many dishes we just use them and throw them away. Thank you Mary Crandall!!

So now the trailer is ALL ready and set to go. I am just thankful that I can pack our clothes and food and jump in the truck and go camping no packing needed. It makes for a much nicer vacation when it is less work and more fun. We have all of our camping stuff in the trailer too. There is a large storage at the bottom of the trailer and we have stored our lanterns,camping chairs,tables,large grass rug,tools,sleeping bags,extra tent,easy up,cots,really everything we need. It is great to have all of that stuff out of our garage and it is really nice to know that it is ready to GO..Whenever we want to take it!! We got a really good deal on our trailer last year. We paid cash $1800.00. We have put a little money into it to get it ready. Propane tanks,a new battery,sewer hoses, a couple of fuses,new light bulbs, a minor repair to the roof and we have ourselves a working trailer. Our moto is pay cash for stuff we can afford. It is nice be able to pay cash for something and OWN it forever,rather than buy something that we can't afford and then never have any money to take it anywhere or have to spend our life a slave to our toys and our jobs. So the tip for today is own crappy stuff that works and spend more time with your family and people you love that is truly what life is about. It does not matter the size of you bank account but what matters the most is that you made a difference in the life of a child. Our children love to camp and it feels so good to pull out of that driveway and to go get lost in the campground for couple of days.

Ok so NO hanford....Boo... Raima has been throwing up all night. We have been together for a little over 15 years and I have NEVER seen him Puke!!! He was so sick this flu bug is nasty!! Joshua started throwing around 9 this morning and has been down all day. Pappy is also throwing up and very weak..Oh please pray Mom does not get this...Some one has to take care of this sick house!! Joshua still has that fake smile even though he is sick!!

July 13th

Had a Dr. Appointment today with Dr , Bazmi to start a weight management program. She gave me phentrmine and a shot of
B-12. So today starts my low card and high protein diet. Yay!!! Isaiah feels much better we are going to go to Hanford tomorrow ona train trip with Gina and her summer filed trip groupl. What fun. I called Megan Goudge to see if she wanted to go with us. So Joshua could have a friend!! She is excited too. It will the first time on a train for both of them. We just hung around the house today. Isaiah is feeling alot better. He is crawling all over and I am glad he is not sick any more. I went to Goudges today and hung out. She had a little concern about "something" I went up and helped her!!! Joshua played for a while and then we came home and had dinner bath and bed!! Yay!!!!!

No Photo taken...... We went to Crossroads this morning. We are looking for new church and Crossroads was great. I think we might just like it there. Came home and made dinner. We hung out and read books. About 10pm Isaiah started throwing up. UGH. It was very sad he threw up ALL night long . Poor little guy had a 24 hour flu bug!!!

We hung out at the Sutherland sircus today and after we went to the Farmer's market and the kids got their face painted. We had a great time and Joshua and Trinity loved the Farmer's market!

We went to my sister Linda's and hung out all day. We made crab salad for the 4th. I tried to do her hair??? Then we went to Shafter to watch the fireworks with some friends. Linda and all her kids .Justin his new girlfriend and thier boys. April,Anthony and Addy. We sat at the park bought cool light toys from some guy and enjoyed the fireworks!!!

July 2nd

This is what my baby does on the way to the Dr with an ear infection. He is the Happiest baby. We took him to Dr Bhogal's today and he had an ear infection in his right ear. He had been running a fever and pulling at his ear. She gave me a z-pack. Hop ehe feels better soon

We went on a tour of Winco today. We had a lot of fun. The kids tasted honey,fresh deli meat,and of course cookies. We saw a REALLY big block of colby cheese. I wanted to put that in our cart LOL... We walked by the trash bins,very stinky, and all shared lunch at the pizzeria at the end of our tour. Thank you to Miss Gina for the invite!!

We spend a lot of time at CoCo's during the summer. She has a pool. We love to swim!!! This picture is of Isaiah and he laid so still on the raft for a very long long time. He loves to be in the water and swim. Joshua is doing much better in the water. He can swim,get rings off the bottom,and he is learning to float! Thanks CoCo for the open pool policy during the summer we would melt without you!

June 27th

It is just really HOT!!! We close our blinds,turn on all the fans,crank down our A/C, and look at eachother in the living room. Raima says it is even too hot to smoke. imagine that? You know it is HOT if my hubby isn't cleanin' out the garage or smoking on the porch!! We try not to open the door or even go outside. We eat alot of fresh tomato sandwiches and cold salads. NO OVEN OR STOVE!!! It is summer in Bakersfield. I pray for my husband when he has to work outside in the heat. It is defiantly summer and we are hermits in the house unless we are at CoCo's swimming. See ya in September when it starts to cool down...

June 26th

Joshua had a great time at Auntie Glory's. (No Auntie sa he didn't catch the swine flu?? LOL..) We hung out with Miss. Olivia all day. Joshua hung out with all the neighbor kids. They played in the sprinklers and he "shared" auntie Glory's bubble gum with them. He was trying to make friends LOL. and Isaiah hung out in Olivia's new pack and play that we broke in for her. Jr and Lika and the girls came over to visit us while we were there. We had a great time and Miss. Olivia is PERFECT!!!!

This morning we woke and headed to OC to see Miss OLIVIA.. She is doll. Me,Joshua, and Isaiah decided to go to Fountain valley and see Gloria and her new baby girl.

Go Dodgers. We went to a couple of Caleb's baseball games this year. I really wish we could have gone to more but it is so hot and Isaiah can not sit in the heat that long. But we did go to a few that started at 7 and it had kinda cooled off. Caleb loves to play baseball. Wayne is the assist coach. This particular day Caleb hit a triple and did a very good job playing third base. Joshua loves to go to the games and play with all the kids and I am so glad that Caleb enjoys to play. Marlene and her kids came over to play with Joshua today! We got out the water slide and the kids had great time in the front yard. They had a picnic on the lawn and were VERY tired at the end of the day!Thanks for coming over and hanging out with us I am glad we are friends.

Isaiah's first time in the pool. We went to the Lawhorn's to swim today . Carrie had a Dr appointment so I cruised out to her house and sat with the babies a little while and when she got home we had Strawberries in powder sugar and a large diet coke from MCdonalds. We swam a little and hung out.

Had a PHONE meeting at social services this morning for my Pappy...Ugh Matty Scott came over to play..Her mom had foot surgrey.So she came over for the day to give Cindy a break...

***Linda came over this evening.and although this picture was not taken today of Linda I thought I would Blog about her today!! She is a big part of our lives. She stops in to visit at least 4 times a week. She is always changing over my laundry loads,doing my dishes,bathing Isaiah and Joshua,picking up and dropping off ALL of Pappy's laundry,laughing,listening to me cry or vent about something,helping me with ANYTHING I need. I seriously do not know what I would do with out her. She is a such a good auntie and sister. I am very blessed to have her in my ife . Our family is very blessed to have her in our lives. We love you Linda and want you to know that you are appreciated greatly!! Even if you just come by to take a nap on our couch we love when you are here!!!! You make our day a lot. I love You with all my heart.

Today some old friends came over..Sean and Dawn Jennings came over with their boys, Brandon and Ryan. The saying make new friends but keep the old. One is silver but the other Gold, came to mind!! They are great people and Raima and Sean work for Golden State Drilling so they have a lot in common and like to hang out. Sean was Raima's first friend here in Bakersfield it was nice to get together it had been too long!! Thanks Jennings for a FUN evening!! The boys had a lot of fun thank you Spiderman and Batman for the entertainment.

Today we had a neighborhood BBQ with our neighbors and friends Sabrina and Pat and their kids. We had a lot of fun and My sister and her boyfriend came over for a little while too!! Good Times!! Joshua and Anthony were rockin' Pappy's chairs before he returns tomorrow.

Today Megan Goudge came over and played with Joshua for a little while. They are such good friends It is so nice. Then when Linda got off work she came over to watch the kids and Raima and had date night. It was VERY nice to get out with my hubby We went to Ichiban for sushi and then came home. We are OLD!!! Woke up this morning and my husband wanted me to help him clean the garage....Doesn't he always want me to help him do that!!So I agreed again. I was talking to my friend that morning Carrie. She agreed to come help.BLESS HER! So we started agree on some things disagreed on ALOT. We got through the day and had a dinner in the front yard. The garage I think it will be a battle until we retire and move to June Lake to be camp ground hosts. Then we won't have a garage.

June 1st

Linda and Rick invited me out to a Texas Hold Em tournament at their house tonight. I won $120.00. Not Bad. I had a lot of fun. I got to see my friend Joe that I have been friends with since we have been in our Mom's bellies and hang out with Linda that is always FUN!! Thanks for inviting me out I had fun taking your MONEY !! LOL This what Isaiah did while mommy gambled!!

So I have really sucked at blogging lately. I don't know I kinda lost interest or maybe I am just interested in every one else's blog, I don't have any time for my own !!! I am going to go back to May 18th and upload my pictures to current and then start fresh.. I love that people actually know the date of my last blog entree and ask me where I have been. Makes feel kinda good that people actually read my blog!! I am back and it is going to take me a little while to catch up, but the reason I am keeping this blog -I would like to have a book at the end of the year for my family to look back on. I am excited to be creative and to be back at keeping our family journal. Yes MOM I am going to bring my blog up to date and I LOVE you!!!!! We woke up bright and early and headed to Trona. My mom is going to have surgery on her hand and the boys and I are going to Trona to help out .

We went to Juniors for a back yard BBQ and Poker tournament. We had a lot of fun. We went to Sa's to sleep and finish our poker game!!! It was so nice to see everyone. I stayed up very late and had fun playing poker with the Fam!!!

I took a class at SS for hybrid scrapbooking. I want to learn digital. Thanks Cindy you were a great instructor. I also came home to a BBQ. Nikki,Moe, and Sarah came over for dinner and we celebrated Raima's birhday. I picked up a champagne cake from Green Frog and we had a great evening! Joshua was super tired from the long day and he fell asleep on the couch SO CUTE!!!!

Today we went to Anthony Evens's Birthday party!!! Joshua loves Anthony and vise versa. They get together and watch out!!! Boys will be Boys. Thanks Anthony for inviting us to your birthday!! They had a big water slide set up in their back yard and the kids had so much fun. The Evens moved into a new house. It is so nice. I am so happy for you guys. Your house is beautiful. After we left the party I went to Nikki's for the survivor finale. It is a day I look foward to ALL season. I love survivor

Isaiah has his first tooth today. Yeah . I think we are going to throw a tooth party !! Isaiah got a bottom tooth today. He has been teething for so long. FINALLY!!!in the photo- Look what Uncle Moe brought me back from The Houston Space Center!!

We decided to stay inTrona for a couple of days since Raima was off . We had a great time Raima finished cleaning off the patio. We got my mom some plants and planters for mothers day she loved them !! Thanks Nicole for picking out great plants and for all your hard work planting them. We met at the senior center in Trona. There were 30 of us. 3 of my aunts and their children and granchildren and my mom and 2 sisters. we had a taco bar and very nice day!

GSD WHOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!

Not a very good photo,but I took one shot and my camera died...It was busy day at Disneyland yesterday I guess!! Today was the Golden State picnic.Every year they have a summer picnic for the employees and their families. Good food, Raffles and fun. This year was no different. The picture is of every one waiting for the raffle numbers to be called. Unfortunately we did not win anything this year. Maybe next year.. Thanks GSD for a great picnic and being a great company. Raima is a driller for GSD. He has worked there for almost 8 years and loves his job. He works hard and long hours. But he only works half the year! He works 4 days on and 4 days off. Which equals out to about half the year. He is very lucky to have such a great job especially during such hard economic times. We are grateful for his seniority,insurance,401k,generous bonuses and the paycheck every other week. Thank you Raima for working hard and supporting our family. I love being able to Stay home with our boys and that would not be possible without YOU. Your hard work and dedication to our family!

PRAYER

Today we prayed, Joshua and I woke up and prayed for Megan Goudge. It was so cute to watch Joshua pray for his friend. She has a belly button hernia and is having surgrey today. We love you Megan. Nikki came over this evening for dinner and to hang out. Joshua and I took balloons and smith's cookies to Megan. Her surgrey went well and she is recovering fine!!

While daddy went fishing for the weekend I decided to take Joshua and Isaiah to see Granny and PaPa. My dad is still very sick ad my mom loves when we come to see them . She doesn't go many places any more it is just too hard on my dad and any visitors are welcomed with opened arms and good cooking. We had a really good time in Trona. My dad is slowly recovering from his stroke and my mom is such a good care taker. She said something while I was there that really touched my heart. I commented on how hard it was to a be care giver and how serious she took for better or worse and through sickness and health. She was good wife. Some of the boys went fishing this weeknd to the trout opener in the High Sierra's. They stayed at a cabin in Mammoth and fished the whole weekend. The love to fish at Silver lake and June Lake. they caught a lot of fisha nd had a great weekend. April 23rd

The picture of the shoes is what it looks like when 4 Samoan Men come to your house the night before a fishing trip . LOL. they all took off their slippers and started talking about what kind of bait to use..Also the first picture is of isaiah and his Uncle Junior,Raima's brother and BFF!! LOL

April 22nd. Raima is working and geting ready for his big fishing trip. I am hanging out and trying to get the laundry caught up before I go to trona for the week. Joshua is probably riding his scooter. His MOST favorite thing to do right now. And I isaiah is learning how to crawl. He gets faster and faster everyday!! The pictuer is of Joshua. He wants to take that scooter every where and right when we get home he wants to ride it!!

This picture is of our Kegerator on the patio. It has been getting some good use now the weather has warmed up. Especially that Pappy has been gone.While Raima is at work Joshua and I have been having relaxing evening with no cooking and I have been organizing my scrapbook stuff and having a couple of beers in the evening. One thing Raima and I love to do when he is off is BBQ with a nice cold drink. After dinner we love to pop some popcorn and watcha good movie. All I can say is life is GOOD at the Lefotu Lounge. Woke up REAL early and took Pappy,Sammy and Henry to the Bakersfield airport . Pappy will be gone for 2 months this time. He thinks it might be his last year to make out there(he says that every year). After I dropped them off at the airport . I was in tears!! I will miss MY pappy. I picked up Nikki after I dropped them off and we went to the 24th St. cafe for breakfast at 7-am. Then to the relay for life yard sale for Nikki's Work. It was good. Then we just decided to go Yard sailing ALL morning. We had a BLAST. We found many treasures and I did not have my camera with me all day/ UGH. The picture for today is a picture that was taken this month of Isaiah that I love.

We hung out around the house today and I packed up pappy he is going to Missouri for 2 months and he will be missed!! I got all his medicine ready. Tomorrow he leaves with Sammy and Henry. He will be back in June!!

In and Out burger for lunch. pappy hearing aid broke so Steward came out and fixed that. We went to Linda's for dinner and then to Rosemary's for Ice Cream !!!

Sammy and Henry are here from Missiouri to visit. We picked them up from the airport yesterday and today we took them to Murray family farms and Ranch Market. We had a fun time .

HAPPY EASTER. We went to the Ranch this year for Easter Sunday. Wayne's(my sister's husband) Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kids have big Easter egg hunt and we have a potluck style lunch. It is a great day and Joshua loves the ranch he can RUN and PLAY and have super fun. In the picture is all the kids lined up to hunt for eggs. Joshua and I went to the Sutherland to color Easter eggs. We had a really good time. Trinity and Joshua played very well together and I fell inlove with the twins. Charity and Felecity. We had an eventful afternoon. Trinty or Rosey as Joshua calls her wanted to come home and stay the night so we had a slumber party to end a fabulous day!!!

Raima's first day and off and we were so excited to see daddy we played the WII and wrestled and little. Hung out with eachother and I had supper club.We also went to the party corral to check it out. that is where we are having Isaiah's first birthday party

April 7th

Well we were suppose to go to the Calvary Bible Easter egg hunt with MOPS. I woke up SUPER tired, Isaiah had a rough night and I decided to stay home and take a nap . Isaiah is teething the poor baby. Later in the day I drove down to Starbucks for a pick me up . I love a venti shaken black iced tea. No Ice,No water, with 4 splenda's. It is my favorite.

April 6th

Monday Morning we went to CALM with Carrie,Brody and Stella. It was a great time. carrie drove her pink car and Josh asked if it smelled like candy inside. Pretty funny. They had craft corner for spring break so the kids colored . It was nice weather. We came home and Melissa lewis dropped her twin girls off for a little while Emma and Ashley. Joshua had fun playing with the girls. We turned the living room into a giant fort.

Saturday Raima went back to work and Nikki and I went to the Yard Sale at Simply Scrapbooks and then we shopped at Fresh and Easy and the had lunch. We went to her house to hang out and finish the Amazing Race. The picture of the day is my treasure of the day . $5.00 adhesive gun. YEAH. those things are like $60.00. I had supper club because I was out of town Wednesday. I didn't do much, played with Joshua and Isaiah and helped Ray organize the garage. His favorite thing to do. HaHa. I brought in the summer tub of clothes and put most of the winter clothes away, with hopes that spring is here to stay.Friday evening Linda picked up Joshua to take him to Trona for the weekend and Raima and I had a nice steak dinner and watched a movie together with little interruptions. (NICE).....

Today Ray went to the dump,DMV, and cut the grass.I just hung out with the kids and watched Raima do yard work. Cleaned a little,laundry,just life!!!

Saturday we went to Anthony's 5th birthday party at Siemon Park. We had a great time and took Anthony to Target after to get him a birthday gift. We went to Nikki's that night for dinner and an Amazing race marathon. She had 6 weeks of survivor and the Amazing race pre-recorded and we watched all of them through out the entire weekend.

Friday we went to Nikki's in the evening and had a survivor marathon because I don't have CBS UGH. I have Nikki DVR it at her house. This is what kind of picture I get when I mention 365. Whatever you two!!

So thursday I don't know what we did ugh(that is why I try to keep a journal how quick I forget). I know I called and booked Ray's resort in Mammoth and he is so excited about going . HE is going the last weekend of April with 4 other guys. He loves to fish!! I updated my blog and uploaded some pictures.

Wednesday was my cooking day and I made tri-tip and broccoli and Raima and I did some work in the trailer. Isaiah is still teething. He eats cereal twice a day. Joshua is doing good in pre-school and he can write his name better everyday. He loves to sing and dance and he loves to play the WII and play outside with his buddy Anthony. Pappy is getting ready to go to Missouri . He went to the heart doctor yesterday and got a good report. He doesn't have to go back for a year. The hearing aid doctor came out last week to pick up his hearing aid and fix it. He is scheduled for an Eye exam next week and the cancer doctor the following week. I also had to call his oxygen supplier to see if they can deliver to Missouri and they can not. So he has to purchase oxygen while he is out there and they will reimburse him. So I will call and get that set up some time next week. Raima and I are trying to get our trailer ready for camping. It is our 8th anniversary next week and we ALWAYS like to take a nice trip somewhere just the two of us. This year we have a 17 pound problem. HAHA his name is Isaiah and he can't get very far from his milk truck so we are trying to plan a family trip instead this year??.We were and still may go to Disneyland depending on how quick we can get this trailer fixed. If we do get the trailer fixed in time we want to try and go camping somewhere??We are thinking Lake San Antonio but if not Disneyland will defiantly do.

Monday was Raima's first day off. Monday my back was hurting real bad and I was under the weather. Nikki came over for dinner and Raima bbq'd chicken. We just hung out and played with Isaiah. He is learning to scoot head first and it is so funny. He loves to play in his jumper and he is getting really good at grasping objects and looking for me when I leave the room .

March 22nd

Sunday we slept in and hung out around the house. Moe and Sarah picked up Joshua and took him to John's incredible pizza and Isaiah and I just hung out at home.

March 21st

Raima is back to work today and we are relaxing. I have some shopping to do and I have to pick up my memory card from Henley's. Tomorrow is church and then Monday I volunteer in Joshua's class. Joshua participating in 365 project

March 20th

Friday is Trash day and EVERY week this is what our trash can looks like we are super TRASHY!!!! I woke up and was so sore I could barely walk. LOL. I woke up and went to Pam's house so she could take Mark to the Dr. He hit his head on the rear view mirror of their van. She was concerned because he was dizzy and had a head ache. She took him to the DR and he has a mild concussion and she has to keep on eye on him. So far he is ok . After I left her house we went to Winco to grocery shop and I came home and made Supper Club. I took Wednesday off because Pam and Eve were out of town. I swapped for this Friday. So I made Bleu Cheese Burgers and grilled Zucchini. I delivered and came home. Isaiah had a low grade fever all day and is still teething. Poor Baby. Last night Sabrina and the kids came over. We attempted to watch a movie and Anthony and Joshua played around. We chatted until late in the night.

Disney

First I wanna say LESSON LEARNED-!! Henley's was able to recover most of my photos but I defiantly learned a big lesson. I was very sad to thank that I lost all those pictures SO fast! I am going to purchase an external hard drive today and back-up all my pictures. While I have most of them on CD. I do not have them ALL. I am going to make it a priority to upload 2-3 times a week. Anyhow LESSON LEARNED. I have heard it from too many people this week about photo protections and they are ALL right. I am taking good advice and fixing the problem TODAY-!! Thank you. Also NEVER hit format on your camera! It was a very expensive mistake.


ON to my daily journal. Thursday we went to Anaheim and you all know why?? DISNEY!!! WhewWHOO... We had a great time. We went to help "celebrate" Megan Goudge's 5th birthday. It was a really fun day. We did a a lot . We went with the PRO Pam and her side kick PRO Eve. They are the best. We either had a fast pass, a baby switch pass or a serious plan for everything we did. FUN!!
It's a small world was Isaiah's first ride. We also rode Winnie the pooh,"Crazy Train",haunted mansion,star tours,Buzz light-year blaster,space mountain,Peter Pan,Autotopia. Joshua and I rode Space mountain together and I screamed SO loud. I don't think I have been on that since I was like 13.Joshua loved it . Joshua is 44 inches and he had a great time. He can ride mostly every ride now. It is so much fun once they reach that 42 inch mark !!! I had my first Mint Julep and many other fun things through out the day. Thanks Pam and Eve for inviting us. He had so much fun Joshua was asleep before we left the parking structure.

March 18th

Today we hung around the house, picked up Raima's new ice chest from Bob's Bait Bucket thanks to his wifey and dropped off my card at Henley's.It was nice to stay home while Raima was off this hitch and hang out and get stuff done tonight we had leftover brisket and now I am packing for our trip to Disneyland tomorrow. Anyone wanna come???

March 17th

Caleb Kern County Science Fair.Tuesday was a very busy day. I woke early and went to MOPS and it was GREAT. We had Norman Wright speak which was a huge privilege as he is a well known Christian author and Counselor. I absolutely loved him. He offered some books after and because I am a READER now LOL. I purchased a few and am excited to start them. Tuesday afternoon I went to Rabobank arena to see Caleb get a his award for the Kern County Science Fair. Congratulations Caleb. Tuesday evening was another one of my favorite days of the month Book-Club. We had a Green feast and hung out and chatted. I did accidentally hit format on my camera at Book-Club and erase over 500 pictures from my memory card. With a tear. I hope they can be recovered I dropped it off at Henley's this afternoon and he will let me know by tomorrow what he comes up with. I had around 300 backed up but the rest were not. Our trip to Big Bear and 9 of my 365 days lost. I was really sad. Raima volunteered in Joshua's class Tuesday and Wednesday. Joshua loves it when his dad goes to school with him.

Monkey Munch

Monday We went to University Park after school so Joshua could play a little and burn off some energy and then I went to Eve's to meet with the Snobby Sisters to make Monkey Munch and dip pretzels. We had SO much fun. Pam and Eve are great friends and super fun to hang with. Megan and Gracie I think took the cake with their backyard fun. LMAO> Eve gave us our brisket that she had been brining in the bottom drawer if her fridge for 10 days. This year we had home made corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's day. It was very good . Thank you Eve....

Isaiah sleeping in Moe's bed . He loves that bed.Sunday we went to church. This was Isaiah's first Sunday in the nursery and he did very well. He made it through the entire service and was happy to see us when we picked him up. After church we went to Moe and Nikki's to have dinner and play more poker. I came in second so Noel took my money$$.. We had bbq'd burgers and Corned beef and Cabbage. It was very nice to see Gia and Tafuna and Cute patootie Fani. Oh yeah and Noel too. LOL I am still a little bitter she took our money !!!

March 14th

The Oney Family visits from Germany..Saturday Gia,Tafuna,Fani and Noey came to Bako to visit. We went over, played some poker and hung out.

Where do you Camp?

Pictures in the almond orchards and after we had an Ice cream at Dewars.Today Nikki and I took Joshua to get pictures of in the orchards. Carrie sent me some pictures of her kids and WOW they are SO nice. I was so excited to take Joshua's out there. Not a whole lot planned for the week. Raima is off and we are going to organize the garage. Hang out and BBQ.Do some much needed yard work and Get the trailer ready to go camping this summer. We have a couple of trips planned. 1. June Lake in June with the Lefotu crew 2. Lake Casitas in August to play at the water park 3. Lake San Antonio during spring break 4.??? Some where fun. Where do you camp??? March 12th

Today Nicole came over in the morning and I went to the Credit Union while she was here with Isaiah to get a new ATM card. Then I picked us up some lunch at Farmer boys. I know I cheated!!! March hasn't been a very discipline month. Then I came home and Nicole helped me ALL day in the house. I packed up some of Isaiah clothes that don't fit and brought out some bigger stuff. We tackled my massive laundry pile and hung out and watched the View. I went to the Dr at 4pm for my back and he gave some muscle relaxer and pain pills. Linda came over this evening and Raima is fixing the light on the ceiling fan...

I can pull my self up to a almost crawl.Today we went to Winco and Sam's Club. I got the stuff for Monkey Munch. It is a Jon and Kate plus 8 recipe and the snobby sisters are going to meet some time next week and make a bunch of Monkey Munch. LOL.. My back really started to hurt and I didn't do much. It was cooking day and I made Chinese Chicken Salad and just hung out and tried to do some laundry.

Cleaning the kitchen after a long weekend in Big Bear. I did some shopping and the rest of the family had more snow play. We packed up and came home. Isaiah fell asleep in the back pack while we were unloaded the truck.

Having Snow much fun in Big Bear!! We had so much fun yesterday at the local spot that we decided to returnand make a day of it. We spent the entire day there and had a really good time.

Big Bear Ca. We woke in Big Bear and could not wait to get ready.. and play inthe snow. We went to a local tire park and Dad and Joshua had a blast. Isaiah and I stayed on the sidlines and watched you guys have SNOW much fun. After the tire park we went back t ot he cabin and had lunch and then went to a local hill and sledded all day. Joshua and Dr Klupsteen.Today I had MOPS. We had a wonderful speaker about FRIENDS and relationships. I learned a lot and it was great as usual. Joshua had a Dr.'s appointment for his ear tags and his stomach aches?? His stomach is fine and he does not have a UTI. They are going to schedule us a appointment with a plastic surgeon for his ears. I am just waiting for the referral to go through?? this evening I met at Star-bucks with my Snobby Sister Supper Club to plan 3 more months of menus. March 1st

I love a Rainy day.Sunday we hung out with my parents and packed up and came home. We had a fabulous,relaxing weekend. Pappy stayed out at Aunt Carols all weekend and said he had a nice time. When we got home Isaiah cried really hard for a couple of hours. we think he might have gas,constipated or teething. We gave him some Mylcin drops-a cold rag to chew on and an ivory suppository. He still hasn't pooped? He is still chewing on his whole hand( and the teether) and is burping like he drank a bottle of bubbles? I don't really know what is wrong but he not Happy. Hope he feels better tomorrow. We finally got him to sleep around 11 p.m. and I hope he has a good night.

Trona for the weekend without a camera UGH

Saturday we hung out with my mom and dad and visited. We gave Isaiah a nap and my dad a nap and then we tried to clean out a couple of totes in the back room. We didn't get very far, Saturday night we went out to Aunt Carols around 4 p.m. and let Joshua play in her front yard with Aiydin and Correna and rode the Chopper and We visited outside for a while. We had Tacos for dinner and then we came home. Joshua had a lot of fun he played outside with the neighbor kids most of the time and he watched a couple of movies in the spare bedroom. My mom bought him a TV with a DVD so he could watch cartoons and PaPa could still watch his westerns and every one would be happy . Everyone was happy this weekend Yeah.

CoCo,Mom,Dad,Isaiah and Auntie Sarah came to watch the performance. After school we packed up and went to Trona for the weekend to see my mom and dad. We had a great weekend. Friday we had dinner at my mom's with Aunt Carol and Correna.

Pajama Day at Preschool.Tuesday I had a MOPS leadership meeting in the morning and Linda came over after class to visit. Isaiah ate a whole jar of carrots for dinner and had banana yogurt for dessert he loves it. He now has cereal 3 times a day and veggies for dinner plus he nurses all day

Feb 23rd

I am going to sleep in the PJ'S that I wear for Pajama day tomorrow OK Mom? Today starts another week here at the Lefotu Lounge. We are settled back in from the weekend and Joshua was ready to go to school this morning. We are just going to hang out today and get some laundry done and Isaiah and Joshua have a DR apt this afternoon. Our fast food challenge was SUPER challenging while out of town. I have to say we HAD to cheat 2 times this weekend. We had Mcdonalds at 7 am in the morning before the party(the party did not start until 12 noon.We went early to help set up and cook and Joshua could not wait he was hungry.We also had lunch at a restaurant on the Santa Monica peer.It was an unplanned fun day and I was NOT prepared for lunch. We are back home and sticking with our plan of no fast food, It has saved us SO much money this month and it so much healthier for our whole family. It really is eaiser than you think or at least eaiser than I thought. We just plan ahead and make sippy cups and water bottles before we leave. I pack snacks and lunch if we are going to be away from home and I am saving a lot. Hope your challenges are going well too!!! BTW the way I started the book and I am really enjoying it so far!!!

Wednesday we had some visitors. My Mom,Dad,Aunt Carol,Char,and Aiydan, We had a fun filled afternoon and a great lunch . They just came down for the day . They left about 3:30. I had supper club.

I am attempting to read a real book from cover to cover!

Today was MOPS one of my favorite days of the month. Each month we have a theme and this month the food theme was foods that kids love. I decided to make a dirt cake. It was super cute I put it in a flower pot with some flowers. Chocolate cake,chocolate pudding and smashed Oreo cookies on top. I will post a picture soon. You can also put it in a dump truck like I said yesterday a sand pail,or individual cups with candy worms. It turned out really well. Today we had a panel of women discussing home schooling. It was SUPER interesting. We also had a speaker on Kindergarten readiness . I enjoyed the morning!!!

I came home and cleaned up the house a little and worked on some Mickeys. I only have like 12 left YEAH......

This evening was book-club another one of my favorite days of the month. Coco came over and Baby-sat the boys. Raima is at work. She cleaned the kitchen, finished laundry,bathed Joshua and put him to bed,fed Isaiah cereal,took out my trash,organized my fridge,found my zip-lock stash in the laundry room. LOL,fed Pappy and Joshua dinner,gave Pappy his medicine and dessert. Now that is what I call a babysitter!!!!! and she is free!!!!!! I had dinner from supper club in the oven when I left but other than that she did the rest. Thanks Coco..... My sisters are fabulous. Linda was here too when I got home so the 3 of us visited and hung out for a little while this evening and it was nice. I don't know what I would do with out my sissy's / Thanks girls for always being there for me . Linda lives right around the corner from me and is here at the drop of a dime WHENEVER I need her. She always watches the kids, she picks up Pappy's laundry twice a week and drops it off clean and folded. I am very lucky to have both of you in our lives. My boys are even Luckier!

So my friend Carrie brought some books to book-club tonight. You see that sounds fine but we belongs to a scrapbook "book-club" not a reading book "book-club. She really wants me to start reading because I can shamefully say the only book I have ever read from cover to cover is The bridges of Madison County about 10 years ago. I do read my bible everyday and that is it!!! She has challenged me to read a book before next book-club meeting. I have accepted her challenge and chose The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve. She brought 3 books to choose from. This is the first one I am going to attempt. Thank you Carrie for the challenge. I have agreed that when I sit down to nurse Isaiah I will read this book. I will probably read it out loud to him as that is what I do with my Real Simple magazine I read while I nurse. I am going to try !!!

Speaking of challenges how is everyone doing on the No fast food?? I am doing great! I have only cheated one time and it was NOT my fault and I am NOt counting it!! LOL... I went to Costco with my friend Pam Goudge and she offered to buy Joshua and I a Costco dog. I explained to her that we would pass because it is No fast food February and She insisted that she buy our lunch. So I decided that it was OK because I was not spending my own money and if I were to go home and make lunch I really was going to have hot dogs. So we had a Costco dog and a soda . Thank you Pam for lunch. Other than that we have still had NO fast food and only had dinner in a actual restaurant one time this entire month. Pappy took us to Chinese food because his daughter from Missouri was here to visit. But it had no drive thru and it was a planned event. So how are you all doing ????

Saturday we didn't do much we hung out here and visited with Sissy and BBQ'd Ribs. After dinner we took Sissy to Ranch Market so she could see the cow head and to Crystal Palace so she could see inside and the bronze statues. She had a lot of fun.
Sunday we took Sissy back to the airport and Sarah Swan came over to get Joshua. They hung out at Moe's all day and Me and Isaiah hung at home. Raima went back to work on Sunday. Today we are going to make a dirt cake for MOPS tomorrow . My friend Carrie called this afternoon and gave me a fabulous idea. I am going to put it in a dump truck and take it to MOPS. YEah how cute! I will take a picture for you ! We are also going to Nikki's for dinner and making Flubber! (with borax and glue another great idea from Carrie) A nice inside activity on the gloomy day !!!

TACO NIGHT

Friday Griselda came and Raima and I went shopping for our Taco Party. We went to Smart and final and Ranch Market. Then we picked up Megan and Joshua from Pam's house and came home to get ready for the Fiesta. It was a lot of fun we had 27 adults and 8 children for Tacos. I had SO much fun . It was great getting together for NO reason and having a good dinner with good company. Thanks all that came can't wait for the next one.

Today Nicole came over to cut Pappy's hair and she hung out for awhile.She brought Joshua a Valentines movie and told him he was her sweetheart. He was very excited. I had supper club. I made ham and cheese puff pastry sandwiches and potato soup.I have been working on the Magical Cocoa all week. I have to a little at a time. With Isaiah you never know how long I have. Went to F and M fabric today to get the fabric and ribbon I need to complete my jars. We also went to the dollar tree to get Joshua some candy for is VALEMTIMES Party.. I love him!!!. We filled out his cards tonight and he wrote his name 26 times. WOW.... He did a great job. one time he just wrote JO and I said your almost done there "Joe". He just laughed my name is not Joe mom... LOL...He is so cute. He is doing much better on his name he stills had a little trouble with the "S" but other than that he has got it !!! Tomorrow Sissy arrives from Missouri. She is pappy's daughter. She will be here until Sunday! Friday is Taco Tuesday on Friday night LOL!!!

Tuesday, We went back to school and it was Raima's last day to work. YEah.. He is home for 4 days.... Joshua and I played Mario Kart and waited for Daddy to get home. He went fishing.Isaiahis getting big he is still nursing a lot and aaking 2 naps a day. Joshua is loving preschool and we are just movin' and a groovin' here. Sunday Isaiah and I slept in.We hung out here I got our laundry done for the week. Sarah Swan came over sunday night, to our surprise and Moe and her are back together. She hung out for a little while and watched HGTV. Our favorite thing to watch and Joshua was so excited to see his Auntie Sarah. So still no FAST FOOD for us.. How is everyone else doing?. It is SUPER hard,but we are saving so much money and calories. Let me know!!!

Saturday Nikki came over and we made some really goods dips that I bought at the fairgrounds from a company called Watkins. tomato horseradish,garlic sesame and blazin cajun. They were really good. I was telling my mom about the dips and she said there used to be a Watkins man that came by their hose when she was a little girl and Granny Denman loved their stuff. WoW. It is one of the oldest companies in the world and I had never heard of until this weekend. Anyway!!. Saturday I finished up the Mickey's for the hot cocoa.

Feb 6th

Just me and Isaiah for the whole weekend. Linda picked up Joshua and took him to Trona for the whole weekend. He was so excited to go see Granny and Papa. Oh yeah and his cousins..He had a blast although it did rain so he hung out with Auntie Linda and Granny while they cleaned out some closets and then he went to Aunt Carol's and played with his cousins. Linda took him to the horse corrals on Sunday and then to Auntie Joan's for dinner and to play with Uncle John. He had so much fun all weekend , He came home exhausted. Friday afternoon Raima and I went to the 32nd annual sportsman show out at the fairgrounds. It was very interesting. There was a fish tank with professional fisherman teaching techniques,a trout pond, lots of booths with cool stuff. We had a nice "date". Friday night I went to Linda and Rick's for poker night.

Feb 5th

Thursday I didn't do much Raima went fishing with some friends in the rain. I stayed home and hung out with the boys. I love it when it rains. Thursday night I went to to our last Close to my heart meet-up. It was fun. We laughed, told funny stories,made a really cute little wall hanging ( I gave to my my mom and dad),It was a lot of fun. I am going to miss them.

Isaiah's Halo (He is our angel)Well today is my supper club day and I am going to try and get it done before I have to pick up Joshua and Megan from preschool. Oh yeah we are getting our taxes done today WOOWHOO.. Hopefully we get a good return.

Joshua loves Mrs Sherry(MOPPETS) Tuesday I went to MOPS and it was great. Sue did her famous SEX talk. WOW. It was a lot of fun. We learned some and laughed. We also learned how to do a blanket stitch on a felt heart stocking.UGH That is clearly not my forte... I came home and Marlene,Diamond and Benji came over for a play date and we made lunch,the kids hung out, played and we made 20 Mickey's for Manoah's hot Cocoa on the 21st . I am trying to get ahead start on them . We also played outside for a long time. Supper club is so nice while we are outside enjoying ourselves and the kids were playing Eve pulls up and delivers my home made dinner. YUMMY. Chicken noodle soup and chocolate gnash cake. Now that is relaxing to know I can stay outside with Joshua and play as long as we wanted because dinner is made and delivered to my door with no worries. Last night we went to Target to get a couple of needed items Diapers,paper plates (for a craft from Carrie),waffle maker,and a 2 different kinds of binky's. UGH Isaiah is using me as a human pacifier and I want him to take a binky so bad but he just make a sour face and gags every time we give one to him. So we bought 2 more but different shaped and same thing he acts like we put ear wax on it before we give it to him. LOL . He makes the worst face.. What to do with this child that only wants my milk out of my boob... NO bottle NO binky.. I know it is just for season in my life but come on I need a little break ....LOL.

Monday we went back to school got back into routine after staying up late on Sunday. We didn't do much I caught up on the laundry and Pam came over for a little while the kids played outside it was a very nice day. While she was here we cut out hearts for our MOPS craft on Tuesday. Dear Jesus

I just wanna say conviction! I have not been to church since Christmas Eve. Knowing that I needed to go but dreading the process of getting there. I woke up Sunday morning and laid Joshua's clothes out so he could get dressed,brushed his teeth for him because he is not doing a very good job lately,washed his face,helped him tie his shoes. Woke Isaiah up and changed him,washed him up,got him dressed. I took a super fast shower,got ready,dressed, put Isaiah in his carrier and out the door late but on our way. one grumpy 4 year old with a banana and apple juice,one 3 month old and infant car seat,one bible bag,one diaper bag,and no husband... UGh Raima is a work today. It felt like a really long morning. Once we got to church we were greeted by Pam's smiling face and a happy Sunday school class for Joshua. Great message,good fellowship,praise and some conviction. A good thing.... We left Church feeling energized and blessed. The best part of the day was when we were leaving our house to go to Nikki's for the super-bowl. Joshua said "Mommy say this,Dear Jesus". Mom 'Dear Jesus'. Joshua "I love you, Jesus and I give you my heart" Mom- 'I love you, Jesus and I give you my heart'. Joshua "Thank you for everything you are good" Mom- 'Thank you for everything you are good.' Joshua "Amen" Mom- 'Amen. Joshua that was a nice prayer thank you'. Joshua "You are welcome Mama! Jesus loves us Huh?" Mom- "Yes, son he does and never forget that ok!!!!" Joshua "I won't Mom I like church". I am SO glad I did not sleep in on Sunday . Thank you Lord for all you do in my life! SARAH

No Fast Food February!!!

Anyone?

We are not going to eat fast food for the whole month of February! We are going to save money and calories. I have decided to try it for just a month. It is so convenient sometimes to just drive thru and pick something up for lunch or even dinner. Even if we are out and about we are going to plan ahead and figure it out. We are not going to spend our money anywhere that has a drive thru. "Yikes that includes Star-bucks." I told Raima. He said "Yep no more! Let's save our money and see what a difference it makes." We added up our fast food spending just for the month of December (It was a busy month and we traveled out of town several times) and I am embarrassed of the amount. I choose not to share. January was better but but still a lot. We are really trying to save our money and get on the right track. So today our Challenge starts and I will keep you updated on how we are doing. Anyone want to join our challenge?

If you don't think you need to maybe you should start a tracker this month it will amaze you !!! My sister Linda says she NEVER eats fast food except for a salad from Jack in Box everyday for Lunch and a occasional Chai Tea latte. We added up just her salads everyday and we figured out that $1.77 everyday Monday-Friday Equaled $8.85. For the entire year if she would put $1.77 in an envelope at the end of the year she would have $460.00 that is not including her occasional Latte. Granted she does have to eat lunch but she could save more than half that if she took leftovers and made her own salad at home. I know I spend a lot more $1.77 when I get lunch thru a drive thru. So you could image how much I would save. Go ahead except my challenge save some money and go on a mini vacation this summer.$5 or $6 every now and then added to your savings account really adds up quick.

Making Sugar cookies with Mom and Auntie NikkiSaturday we woke up and Linda came over so I could run to the bank and then I came home and we went to get a BoBa. Me,Linda,Joshua and Isaiah. Then we went to Manny's and Winco. We came home put away groceries and had Panda Express. Nikki came over in the evening and we made heart and snowman sugar cookies and decorated them. Joshua loved it. We had to make him stop playing Smash brothers, but once he started helping with cookies we all had a good time!!! Tomorrow is Superbowl and we would like the Cardinals to win but the Steelers will probably take it!!!!

Jan 30th

Auntie Nikki and her weekend baby buddy Raima went back to work and Joshua and I went to Joseph's for lunch. Nicole works the lunch shift there and Joshua was so excited to see Coco. After we left Joseph's, we went to a couple of stero shops to see if I could get my CD player fixed.I did not get it fixed but I did find a shop that would put a new one in for a reasonable price. We went to Coco's for a little while after the stero shops and hung out with the Melson crew. We came home and Nikki came over and we played the WII.

Today is my cooking day and I am making Big Harv's famous Bacon and Tomato noodles and Garlic bread. Isaiah is feeling a lot better he is also sleeping better too. Last night he slept from 12 am until 7 am WOW.. That is 7 hours... We needed it . He woke and nursed and went right back to sleep for another 2 hours. So I finally got to sleep in for once this week. Raima volunteered in Joshua class this morning, I just got back from Albertsons and I am going to go do my supper club. Tuesday I went to MOPS leadership meeting and bible study. We discussed the leadership conference in Tennessee this September and I am so excited. I came home and talked to Raima. I think I am going to go. It is in Nashville. Can't wait. I just have to find a babysitter for 1 out of the 5 days I will be gone. So let me know if I have any volunteers LOL.. I will probably ask my #1 Babysitter Linda. So I hope you are free in September Linda??...Raima went to a passport class and then he went fishing ALL day , He went to Buena Vista and had no luck then he went to the Aqueduct and caught a striper. .STILL working on Mickey's for the party...

Fun Trip

This morning I woke up early again WOW that is 3 in row kinda scary.I volunteered in Joshua's class.... I took my Cricut in the class this morning and Miss Trinidad loved it. I cut out hearts,shapes and little awards for the classroom...She also sent me home with some paper to do some other projects for her and the time I spend at home cutting counts towards volunteer time . YEAH ....In Joshua's class we played play-doe,alphabet puzzles, and Doggie Doggie where's your bone . Joshua was super happy I went and I was glad I did. Linda ame over and worked out on the WII Fit. She has been coming and working out every night...Tomorrow is MOPS leadership meeting and bible study. I finished up my study tonight and I am ready for the 4th day in a row to get up early and go to MOPS... WOW Carrie you should be proud this week early to bed and early to rise!!! .... I will probably sleep in on Wednesday because Raima is off and he can get Joshua ready for I am staying home to do supper club...Thanks again Katie for the fun trip!!!!

Saturday I woke early LOL and went to Carries for a fun day . We hung out and the kids played . They clearly have a lot of fun toys and stuff... Because I don't think I even saw my son until it was time to go to Bubba's tacos? He loves the pumpkin ladies house,and so do I . It is a very friendly home. You can take you shoes off and relax- a no worry kind of place.. I took some pointers for sure...Joshua wants to come every Saturday Carrie and you obviously don't care so see ya Saturday !!!LOL... We went to lunch with Tiffany and kids who also came out for our playdate-scrapbook-help day!!! Then I went to Michael's for a some shopping.. I bought 2 new cartridges.. YEAH I don't have to borrow Paper dolls every week April . I have my own. I also bought the Disney cartridge so I can do some Mickey's for Manoah's party and get started on my Disney album that I have been putting off for the four years of Disney trips.. love my Cricut. I do lots of School projects,scrapbooking and lots of fun stuff!!!

Miss Pam picks up Joshua every day for Pre-school and I pick both of kids up after school.Today it was raining and of course he wanted to take his umbrella to school. Thanks Pam..So there is this gal in the scrapbook meet-up offering tickets to fellow meet-up girls for CHA. My friend Miss Katie came over to visit today and told me about it and she emailed the girl and we are SO going to CHA on Sunday . I called the convention center and I can bring Isaiah as long as he is in a front carrier the whole time. So excited I can hardly wait.... So I had a rather rough night last night Isaiah is congested again. So he was up most of the night because he couldn't breathe out of his nose and you know infants if they can't breathe out of their nose they think they can't breathe at all..... So I picked Joshua up from school today and Miss Pam picked up Megan to take her to Libby Lou. How fun it is that.It is days like today having a girl would be fun!!By the way if you do have a little girl everything is 1/2 price and the make overs a crazy cheap like $8.00 or something...So go to Libby Lou in the Valley Plaza... I know Daddy wants a little girl .. Maybe soon ?? Yeah right?? I came home and tried to clean my house just a little before Miss Katie came , but I couldn't get anything done, Between Joshua and Isaiah . When Katie knocked on the old door she found ME. A messy living room, a sink full of dishes from breakfast,a dirty shirt, and greasy hair . Hope you still love me Katie LOLOL.. At least Isaiah was nice a clean and dressed and Joshua went to school and My kids were happy . I guess that is all that matters. I happy home is a messy home sometimes...We had a great day ,great conversation and a great lunch OOPPS. not a lunch sorry Katie and not even a drink offered I am so bad next time just open up my cabinets and make your own LOLOL. I was so busy talking about CHA ,nursing Isaiah, trying to play Ben 10 for Josh and laughing with you I let you go thirsty!!!! Love you and glad we were able hang out today . Tomorrow is Saturday MY favorite day of the week. We are doing a whole lot of nothing!!! We are going to take a cruise out to Carrie's to see her scrapbooks and pictures on the wall. I need some serious inspiration for my kids pictures on the wall. I have a hard time with that so I am going to check out her house so I can maybe get some ideas!!!See you tomorrow Carrie. Hopefully before 11-am LOL...... Well I am off to have a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese!!!

Woke up this morning it was a minimum day so I picked up the kids at 10:25 am and then I dropped off miss Megan and headed home to feed Isaiah and play a couple of games of Mario Cart with Joshua. Then we went to Manny's discount grocery on 19th and Baker.. I love that store. If you are looking for great deals on pantry items IE. Canned goods, boxed stuff, spices, baby stuff. That store is awesome it is hit and miss sometimes the shelves are super stocked and sometimes they have very little. I always find something that is a great deal. I am a stockpiler on my pantry items... If you read the Grocery Game it will tell you it is a great way to save money and time. Stockpiler, coupon clipper,ad reader,bargain finder. I love it . Being a stay at home mom with one income.... we are on a grocery budget so I find it a challenge and super fun to get the best deal on what ever I buy. It saves us money. I am ALL about saving our money and getting a great bargain at the same time. So if you wanna a great bargain stop by Manny's and do some stockpiling for your self... We left Manny' s and went home to get Eve's dinner from yesterday. She was out of town so I delivered her meal today.. Then we went to Star-bucks again another place I love to save money. I do surveys and get online specials for free coffee. I can enjoy a free cup of Joe and Joshua a hot chocolate for $1.10 . Then we went to Green Frog for milk and eggs Egg-lands best eggs were on sell. I love Egg-lands best . I always thought that and egg was an egg but buy Egg-lands best and you will quickly change your mind. We came home and Linda came over and we worked out on the WII fit. I am so sore. I have been working out for 4 days now and whoopee.. I can feel it . Oh WOW I ended my night with ICHAT . My Best friend I'lovea from Nipomo bought a MAC and she is now on ICHAT. We had so much fun tonight talking and she was able to see Isaiah for the first time. We shared pictures and talked forever. Love you VEA.... I am growing to love this computer and the things that are possible with . It has a great scrap-booking program that I just found yesterday... Today we woke up and yes it is cooking day so I made a rock-in beef sew and corn bread . When Raima picked Joshua up from school they went to the dump and then to get daddy a fishing license.. I took Isaiah to picture people to get some Valentines pictures . The are stinkin' adorable...We ended the evening watching President Obama's Inauguration..

Tuesday morning I woke and went to MOPS . I left Isaiah home with Raima. and had a fabulous day there. We learned about lion's, beaver's, otter's and "Goat's" (golden retriever's) LOL... Personality test and then played a fun game of family feud . The bottom wipers VS The tantrum tamers ... The tantrum tamers took the prize.. My fiend and stay at home mom Terasa Spears came and loved it . I am glad you were there sister and hope to hook up soon for a play date . ..Tuesday my friend Ilovea called me from Nipomo and told me about the free cosmetics and Macy's and Gottchalks... You know this girl LOVES FREE.. So I was off to see what I could find. Ralph Lauren Romance,clinque moisture surge.. Loved it !!!Then Tuesday evening I went to book-club.. I almost missed it LOL.... We received a nice kit with Glimmer mist..

He had all his gear on today. Spiderman helmet,skates,knee pads and all.... He loves to play outside!!today was a holiday and we didn't do much Raima and Joshua went shopping and to get hair cuts and Isaiah and Mommy stayed home and scrap-booked. See what happens when the scrapbook room is all clean . Progress.... Monday evening CoCo and Caleb came over to cut out letters for Caleb's science fair and Wayne came over to help with the report. Raima bbq' d hamburgers for everyone. April and the kids stopped by to visit. We had a house full... It was fun... We like it like that ! We finished the science fair board and cleaned up from dinner and then after everyone left, me and raima hooked up the WII Fit and started our profiles and played a couple of games .. Good Times.. WII Fit is so hard my muscles are achy.....

Sunday was spent ALL day cleaning the scrap book room and hanging out at home with Raima. around 6pm we headed to Moe's for a bbq and ended up staying until 2 am playing the WII. Joshua arrived back home safe and sound Sunday evening.Isaiah was in his car seat ready to go to UNcle Moe's.

So today I am going to try and clean my scrapbook room and get some scrap-booking done and like always finish LAUNDRY and Nikki is coming over tonight with take and bake pizza and we are going to play the WII...

Friday I packed up Joshua and My sister LInda came and got him and took him with her to Trona...They are going to visit Granny and PaPA for the entire weekend.
SWEET I know!!! I slept in this morning and woke up and made Raima breakfast. Packed his lunch and dinner and he was off for his last day on a four day hitch ... WHOO HOO.. I love it when he gets to be home with us for 4 whole days. Pam came over this morning and we labeled some flyers for our MOPS fundraiser . We are having a fundraiser for ADORABLES. They dress your children in cute clothing and take their pictures. Last year we did Antiquities. They were kinda antique looking and one thing in the picture was in color. This year they are SUPER cute. They are in color not antique and they take pictures in pajamas, tuxedos, formal attire. A variety. He went out to the horse corrals and climbed a big mountain,rode a horse, played in the dirt and got all muddy and he is now home eating macaroni and cheese with his granny . he is a happy boy and I am so excited he is there. I can remember going to the horse corrals when I was a kid and playing on the same mountain. Trona is where I was raised and my Mom and Dad still live there. It brings back so many great memories. I am glad that Joshua will have some of those same memories in his childhood. I love Trona and Granny and PaPa. They were Fabulous parents and even better Grandparents.

So Thursday I went out to Marlene's to see her new house and stayed AWHILE. Her house is amazing. She got a great deal in a good neighborhood and what matters most is her husband,herself and the 2 kids are so happy to be in their own home. I love it when I see a friend so happy !!! Congratulations Marlene. I love your new HOME!!!

Jan 14th

Today is cooking day and I am already done I woke up early this morning and made my artichoke salad and Raima marinated the tri-tip last night before he went to bed.. Isaiah is feeling MUCH better . He is no longer coughing and he feels so much better thank you for all the calls,messages and prayers for my little guy to get better... I still have an ear infection I started new antibiotics yesterday so hopefully it will be gone soon. Other than that things are like always movin' and groovin' and the Lefotu Lounge!!!!Where Lounging is our favorite thing to do!!! Isaiah had a bath after dinner. He is feeling a lot better.

Tuesday Raima had to go to CPR class. Went to Walgreens for a new antibiotic for myself..... the other one just did not work....... to the bank and then.... then to the cigarette store for Pappy's Skoal..We waited for daddy to get home then we headed out to Rick and Linda's for dinner. Rick is one of Raima's friends he used to work with and Linda is..... well if you know Linda.. Then I don't have to say any more. She is my friend. They BBQ'd Tri-tip and and we had a lot of fun after dinner we played scattergories and Joshua had a blast that house has SO SO many toys. The boys were so tired when we got home. Joshua fell asleep on the couch and we put Isaiah on his chest for a quick photo for Mom.

Now I just have to fold it and put it away!!!Monday Joshua stayed home from school. He has a really bad cold sore. He always gets them this time of year. Raima was off so we did some shopping. We went to Sam's Club $200.00 later.. UGH.... We also went to Walmart. Everyone knows I am not a big fan of Walmart but Raima heard that all their fishing stuff was on super clearance and he was right He got a BUNCH of fishing tackle,line,and stuff for super cheap. So if any of your husbands fish. Walmart this week for clearance. Then we were of to Game stop to buy Star Wars Clone Wars. I know I know... We told Joshua he could buy one game a month and he had some extra Christmas money so that is what he wanted... It is a really fun actually. When We got home I finished up the LAUNDRY and went to bed !!!

Choices

Who cares what other people think!!! I know that we are all human and have different very DIFFERENT ways of living our lives!!! But seriously who cares. If you are happy then you should be happy for others if your not you have big problems.I believe it is the people that look down upon the way others CHOOSE to live life or raise their kids are the ones that are truly not happy with the way they are living or raising theirs . If you were happy with your life you wouldn't care about mine. Right? It is FREE country and you can do whatever you would like. Without being judged. I know that I try very hard not to judge others . It is difficult task sometimes... But it is the right thing to do . I don't agree with some of my friends/family parenting styles, life styles, or even fashion styles haha. But that does not mean that I should judge them, talk about them or even belittle them . I just feel like I have a very diverse group of friends and sometimes it is hard to hear comments about what I do or how I do it!!.You are not my judge and believe me sister you don't wanna be. It is hard job and there is only one man that is in charge of that task!!!!If you are reading today believe me when I say I don't judge you for any life choices you make.I love you for who you are and if I didn't we wouldn't be friends. So please don't judge me for mine. There are many ways to live life and you choose how you wanna live yours.You choose what to do with your spare time,and who you spend your spare time with,what church you want to attend, who you VOTE for,what social groups you are involved in,what BLOGS you wanna write or read and why you wanna write and read them!, what school you send your kids to, what your kids eat,who your kids play with, what TV shows or if any at all they watch, and last but you know certainly not least around here in this 'cult' LOL is who raises them all day!!It is ALL your choice,and it is most certainly mine!You know my MOTTO.That is the beauty of it, we can all make different choices,vote for different presidential candidates and still be friends! So please just love each-other and try not to judge one another about the small stuff just be happy and be glad that we have the freedom to choose and have good friends to share those choices with .Right or wrong that is not for YOU or ME to decide! We should all be able to share our lives with one another with out worry about being judged,hearing any sarcastic comments, or the 'F' Bomb! Just a thought?

Saturday I said good-bye to my house for a little while and I went to Simply Scrapbooks for a book-club crop. I had a great time with friends from the club and a nice dinner with my friend Carrie. Raima only called me home twice all day to feed Isaiah. Thanks Hubby for being a great Daddy and a good husband to me !!

Jan 9th

Seams like I see a lot of this office lately. He still sounds a little weezy. Continue breathing treatments and TLC.today we picked up his new nebulizer and returned to loaner and took him back to the Dr so she could listen to his lungs. She said he sounds about the same to continue treatments and see her back next Thursday for re-check!!! So today is Raima's last one and he will be home with us full time for 4 days YEAH!!! I am planning on trying to go to Simply Scrapbooks tomorrow and scrapbook for our book-club crop . We will see how that goes.

Jan 8th

Isaiah loving his swing So Thursday morning we woke and waited for insurance to approve our tests and then headed to BMH to get the tests done. Thank you Pam for watching Joshua while I took Isaiah. We had a ex-ray and RSV test and then waited ALL day to find out results The medical field does not move without a fire under them .... I called numerous times and finally got an answer . No pneumonia and no RSV. WHEWW.... The Dr said he had bronchitis. So he has to have 4 breathing treatments a day and continue the antibiotics for his ear infection. Please pray my little gets better!!Just a side note Joshua got in big trouble on Thursday night, He was taking a bath and my sister and I were cleaning the kitchen after dinner. I go in to check on him and the floor is SOAKED. I mean it was soaked there was water splashes in the hall way, on the toilet paper roll,wall,mirror, window, and both rugs weighed about 20 pounds a piece. Yes I was extremely mad and he got a big spank-in'. but when I asked what happened and why he decided to play water wars in the bath room he said crying with real tears "It wasn't me!!!". It wasn't you I said then who was it . "It was the sink Mommy I promise". I told him that it is not OK to lie to Mommy and whether it was the sink or Joshua he was still getting a spank-in'... So after cleaning up a bathroom full of water it was just in time to give mister Isaiah his bath and start all over!!!

The only time today I have had to sit down and post a blog.. HUMM.... anyhow.. So as you know I keep more of a daily life journal instead of a fun blog but please join me if you like I know my mom likes it! today was cooking day as you all know and Isaiah is still sick. I made tacos, rice and beans for supper club and then I was off to deliver my meals . Right back home and off to the Dr with Isaiah. Dr. B. said he sounds a bit weazy and I needed to take him to get a ex-ray of his chest and a RSV test.

Today we woke up BRIGHT and early and went to MOPS.It is a day I look forward to for sure!I love to hang out with other stay at home moms and fellowship!We had an all men panel today. We asked lots of questions abouthow men think, what makes them happy ECT!We made chicken noodle soup in a bag for our craft!After MOPS we went to Small Change a local used children's store.If any of you have never been PLEASE GO!I think everyone got rid of their stuff from Christmas cleaned out closets or something!I have never seen that place so packed with stuff.I spent 22.00 and got a bunch!I bought Isaiah some 9 months sleepers Yes 9 month.He is such a little chunker and Joshua some more Power Rangers figures cause that is just would he needed after Christmas, but for 29 cents you really can't say no and some other things for the baby!Any how I just thought I would let you know that Small Change is on the East side.Auburn abd colombus has some great deals and GOOD STUFF!!!!

Today me and mommy have an ear infection.Today we spent all day caring for a sick baby.. Isaiah is SUPER sick !! He has a bad cough,runny nose,fever,and an ear infection. I am not feeling very well myself. We finally got all the Christmas deco down and put away and the clothes from Christmas put away too.Closets organized.We are going back to school tomorrow so I am trying to get organized for the new week. You all no I hate routine!Isaiah did not sleep very well last night.He didn't get to sleep sleep until about 3 am and then after that he was fussy all night.This morning we are both feeling icky and tired. So we are not doing much... Please Pray my baby boy gets better quick.
