Who's 50?? Today is Brett's birthday. Brett is my sister Linda's boyfriend I call him her rock star boyfriend..Just for laughs. He is the drummer in a local band called Sunday Snake Oil.So Nikki is going to come over tonight and watch the boys and Raima and I are going to go to some bar in Oil-dale and watch him play and celebrate his 50th birthday with him. Happy Birthday Brett. Joshua and I cut out some stuff on the cricut and made big signs that say Happy 50th,The drummer is 50 and so on. We had a god time cutting out the stuff and making his signs. Then we headed to his party... OH my. It was a fun evening. I invited Jana and Guin to come hang out and we all had a great time listening to him play!

Jan 22

Today is friday and what to do??? We decided home made pizzas and movie rentals... Sounds fun to me! Andy,CoCo,Aidyn, Drew, and Nikki came over for some fun and Pizza. We made chicken alfredo,mushroom and cheese on pita bread. We also made pepperoni and cheese. It was a fun night. Sarah Swan came over for some help with the Cricut. She cut out giraffes and frogs as her decorations for her shower on Sunday. We also made a parking sign and a sign that said Baby Shower. It was a nice evening the kids had fun running around... We also found a big puddle of water in the scrap book room. It is coming in from the bottom of the room. UGH This is what happens when 'some guy' builds a room extension on your house for REALLY good price.. HAHA Oh Well we got some sand bags and dried out the carpet with a fan and we are back in business...

Jan 21 st

So I woke up this morning and made the boys some breakfast and made a list of everything in my pantry and freezers..Yes it is time to meal plan for the month....I decided to go to Star-bucks in Barnes and Noble this morning. I met Ashley there and we hung out for a while and had lunch... She was there working on some digital stuff and I was meal planning... Ray is off and home with the boys so I planned all my meals and headed to my first stop...Manny's discount grocery. Their dents and bents will save you dollar and cents ..HAHAHA... I really do love Manny's I find great deals there WEEKLY!!! After Manny's I headed to Winco another favorite money saver! I planned meals for 18 days..

The boys are home today with Raima. They are happy because Nintendo sent our WII back today. YAY!! We have missed our WII!
We have a lot of fun playing together, especially Mario Cart. It is serious business around here when it comes to the WII battle! HAHAHA

This evening after dinner I went to my friend Shirley's house. She had a Stamp and Up party and we made 2 Valentine cards. Hung out had some yummy chicken soup and lots of girl talk fun! Those chicks are CRAZY!!

Jan 20th

Raima is off early yeah!!! The rain was so bad that they could not move the rig so he came home early...Nikki sat with the boys and we ran to Walmart and rented the Ugly Truth at Blockbuster.. pretty funny movie! A pretty normal day really.... Breakfast - clean up...lunch-clean up.....nap time. dinner...clean up then you know like 5 or 6 diapers...2 or 3 games of spider man BINGO and face-book of course... Joshua has been practicing his name and we worked on some flash cards for alphabet recognition. Isaiah is toddling around and getting into everything... He really does his own thing ALL day. He loves Yo gabba Gabba and anything Joshua does makes him laugh....

19th of Jan

Tuesday was BUSY!!!!! I woke and went to MOPS . Thank you Lord for Pajama day! That was nice because we all know I could live in my pajamas....Sue spoke on the five love languages.. We wrote in our joy and challenge journals and made flour sack cloths! We dipped cookie cutters in fabric paint and they turned out really cute. Mine was hearts for Valentine's day! I came home and Martha was workin'!! It is so nice to have a clean house. I love it when she comes. I put a beef roast in the crock pot and LInda stopped by the store on her way home to pick up some rolls(french dips..YUM!!). Linda babysat so I could go to bookclub. Bookclub was GREAT!! I laughed so hard at Debbie Launer I almost wet my pants...LOLOLOL... It was a good night out! Carrie and I stayed and chatted awhile and then home....When I got home Linda and the kids were hanging out watching Disney... The kitchen was all clean food put away! Kids happy!! Love it when she babysits.. Linda and I cried a little before she left..It is so hard to comfort each other when we are both sad..My dad's situation is confusing to us and it makes us so sad..We love you Dad! When Linda left I gotta a call from Carrie..LOL. She bought her husband Dan a Apple computer for Christmas and so now we both have Ichat!! We figured this out last night..Holy COW! That was fun! We Ichatted for a little while and made some funny effect faces at each other!! It was the perfect ending to a busy day!

Saturday Sunday MOnday

Saturday my friend Eve had the BABY GIRLS!! Yes I said girlS.. She had twin girls Sarah and Emma. Congratulations Brennan and Eve. I went to Memorial hospital Saturday morning and held the babies Eve looked great and the babies were nursing and healthy..I left the hospital and went to Winco to grocery shop.$205.00 later my cart full and so is my fridge and pantry. Raima made dinner this evening..He makes the best pork chops and rice. Nikki came over to hang out and have dinner. She made brownies for dessert and we watched- I can do bad by myself-...It was a great movie.. I cried!! What's new right???

Sunday we did not go to church:( We woke up late and it had been so long since I had slept in it actually felt good! Sunday evening I took Josh to Disney's Rockin' Road show @ Rabobank. Raima went back to work and Nikki watched Isaiah while we went to the show. It was last minute planning for those of you reading and wondering"why didn't you call me?? we would have gone with you!!"...HAHA.. Joshua was watching TV and came in and said that Disney show is in BAKERSFIELD mom...HAHA I called Rabobank and they had plenty of tickets.. So we got our tickets at the booth before the show and had a great time.. He loved the show and the time together with just him and I was nice.. Thanks Nik for watching Isaiah and Thanks daddy for workin' hard in this weather so we can go to Rabobank and watch Disney ...

Monday...Oh Monday.... We have cleaned all day because you guessed it the housekeeper is coming tomorrow!! I finished laundry and picked up lots of toys,trash and mail...Oh my!! It was super windy this morning when we woke up and then it rained and rained and rained some more... So needless to say it was good day to drink hot cocoa,play on facebook and watch every Disney movie in our collection...I made potato soup for dinner it was the perfect ending to this cold,dark day... Tomorrow Martha will be here !! YAY!!! She has not been here since the second week on December so my house is SCREAMING her name!! and so am I.....

Mops in the morning and bookclub in the evening ~~ Wish me luck! I really don't want to leave hibernation but I NEED to get out of here !!

Friday

I unpacked and started some laundry. Joshua and Isaiah missed MaMa... All day they hung right by my side. We had a good day we watched Matilda and played some games... We waited for Auntie Nikki to get off work and Ray,Nikki and Joshua all went to see Avatar 3D. They said it was a awesome movie. They came home and we made brownie sundaes and hung out until bed time. It was a great day. Isaiah and I had a good time by ourselves while they went to the movies!! He is such a good boy and always smiling! Thank you to all that call and check on us during this time and offer to help. I know that I am not myself right now and I appreciate my friends and family who care ! If I haven't returned a phone call or am email it is not because I don't want to . It is hard for me to answer calls and emails when everything is in order and now that EVERYTHING is upside ALL the time it is even harder...Thanks again and continue to pray for my moms strength and for our family!

12th

Tuesday the 12th, I packed up and headed to Trona. My sister Linda and Nicole were there for the weekend. We are trying to spread out time there so my mom is not alone with my dad. It is a lot of work and my mom does not want to be by herself. Raima stayed here with he boys...I am very grateful to have a supportive husband. He is the best! Believe me I thank the Lord for him all the time. When we (me and pappy) got to Trona my dad was sleeping.Yes pappy wanted to go to Trona so I packed up his stuff too and headed that way. My mom said he had a pretty good day. Wednesday the home health care nurse came out to change his catheter. She left and the catheter was not working...She called back later that afternoon and still no drainage. So she called the Dr. and he thought she should come back out reposition it and irrigate it to see if there was something wrong with the placement. So she came back out around 5pm and worked on it and thought it was in the right position and no blockage. So she called the Dr. and he wanted a blood panel drawn to make sure his kidneys were functioning??. Thursday morning the SAME nurse came back out and said she had done everything she could and for some reason it was not working. We called the doctor and decided that he had to go to the emergency room to get it fixed. We can not have him at home with out a working catheter. I called the ambulance and we headed to the emergency room. basically a long story short we were in the emergency room ALL day and it was finally fixed and the ambulance took him back home that evening. We got back home around 6pm. It was a very long day and my dad was exhausted and so were we. Friday morning I came back to Bakersfield and my sister Linda headed to Trona.

10th and 11th

I will start with Sunday the 10th and Yes I am back to a daily journal it is what I originally started this blog for??

Sunday I hate to say but we slept most of the day away... We woke up around 11 and went out to Chinese for lunch. Then we came back home got back in pj's and slept off and on all day. Raima had to work at Midnight. Monday I cleaned the house and Raima brought us home some lunch from Ralenes filipino cuisine(love that place). Raima went to bed and the boys and I hung out. We played some games and read some books...A pretty normal day other than the crying and depression from me. I am having a hard time dealing with this. I feel like am TOO young to not have a father. I feel like he has so much much more life to live and to see him in a hospital bed living like he is is horrible I want his suffering to be over! I love you DAD!!

A New Year and Blogging

Whew....5 months went by too quick... I suck at blogging period!!! LOL

I tried I really did. I am not going to delete my blog but I am going to quit trying to keep up with the picture and the daily post that totally threw me off!!

I was rockin' before 365 started and I WILL NEVER attempt that project again I am still stressed out about last October.LOL

So as most of you who know me know my dad is very sick. I have been traveling to Trona alot to help my mom and to spend time with my dad.. My New Year Started in Trona with both my sisters, mom and dad. We had NEVER all been in the same place for New Years..It was nice.. We stayed in Trona until the 3rd and then came home. It is so sad to see my dad in this condition. It is the hardest thing I have ever done..

The 4th we got unpacked and PACKED!! The 5th I headed back to Trona and Raima and the boys headed to Orange County to see Grandma Rosie who is visiting from Samoa..Friday the 8th we both returned home to a LOT of laundry and much needed time together. Saturday I was Pooped! I was hanging around the house,grocery shopping for a house that had been EMPTY for weeks and had a HUGE surprise--- my best friend in the whole world showed up on my door step around 2pm. I guess she was sick of hearing me cry on the phone so she decided to come listen to it in person. HAHA.. Ve'a you were a fresh breath of air today and I love you dearly for coming and seeing me it was TOO short a visit as she was back on the road home to Nipomo by 9pm . BUt it was still a nice surprise and there is nothing in the world like hugging your best friend when you are sad..Thanks V..I love you!

August 3rd

Today I went to Lawhorns to help Carrie clean out her kitchen cabinets..FUN !! I love to organize and get rid of stuff..Especially other peoples stuff!! It is much easier to say do you really think you need that? If it isn't yours..LOL....We had a great time. She got rid of a lot of stuff for Goodwill and the kids played and played and played! We laughed until our belly hurt and Ty and Vaughn came over and hung out! All in All in a was great day! When we left there I dropped the kids off to Linda and headed to Sue's for our meeting about our Nashville trip! I can't wait to go to Nashville and attend the MOPS convention! I didn't have my camera today so I am gonna look through Carrie's pics and find one of the kids for today! HEEHEE

2nd Annual CBC MOPS Scrap-booking fundraiser....We had our annual fundraiser for MOPS at Simply Scrapbook this year. 27 crazy women signed up to scrap all weekend and help raise money for MOPS! We raised a little over $1600.00 and had a fabulous weekend. Lots of local businesses and friends donated raffle prizes and food for the weekend. We scrap booked all Friday night and all day Saturday! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported CBC MOPS and to all those who donated and volunteered to make this a successful fundraiser! (picture to follow can't find that CF card HAHA)

My husband loves to fish! Joshua loves to go with daddy. Mommy loves to say bye bye to the both of them .... Me and Isaiah love to take a nap while the boys love to fish! Here is a picture of the boys getting ready to go to Lake Isabella and catch lots of fish!

Today is the Lawhorn Poker Party. Swimming,Poker,hanging out with friends and celebrating Brody's 4th birthday. It was a great day...although I did not take Dan's money at poker it was still fun. We had BBQ burgers and hot dogs. Rockin' artichoke dip and Carrie's homemade salsa. A good time had by all. (Carrie if you are reading upload a pic to Shutterfly from the poker party so I can post one forgot my camera today)......

CAMPING WE LOVE IT!!!!! There is a water park inside our camp ground and that is our adventure for today!!

July 22nd

We are having a fabulous time at Lake Lopez. This morning we decided to launch the boat and go tubing. So we all pile in and pack up for a fun filled day! Ice chests, easy ups, and the boat. We are sure to have a good time. Well.... we get to the boat launch along with 25 others(literlly) and get in line to launch! There is a man at the bottom of the launch with 2 jet skis. He is taking a LONG time and has lots of people waiting!. We patiently wait for this very slow man to finish and as he was pulling his truck up the launch to park he drove by us and shouted to us how stupid he thought we were and that we should have used the middle launch instead of waiting also calling us some not very nice names. Now I am not sure if you know who I am married to or what he looks like, but he is a very large samoan man and my sisters husband is just as big and tall. In my opinion not a very smart thing to say to 2 very large men. Let alone their families. So Wayne gets angry and Ray as always kinda keeps his cool.(First I just wanna say I dont know why this man would say these things knowing that he has to walk back down the launch ALONE and get his jet skis. That was the biggest mystery.) So as he is walking back down the launch he immedialty starts to apologize and explain what a bad day he has had and how sorry he is .... Wayne explains to him that he is "going to be sorry in a minute pal" if he does not get his butt down the ramp and get his "crap" out of our way.I am using my blog profanity sensor today for sure. Wayne also pokes the man in the chest (a couple of times)!! Oh my he was now really sorry that he had spoke to us like that and scared. There was a ranger close by and ended up taking a report and the man moved his jet skis. We launched our boat and we were off for a some tubing. we laughed about it all day. "your gonna sorry in a minute Pal" about everything ALL DAY!!. Isaiah your gonna "be sorry in a minute" if you don't take a nap. Joshua your gonna "be sorry in a minute" if you don't behave. and so on and so on . So we have a new family joke. Your gonna be sorry in a minute Pal!!!

a Safari with Survivor Man-21st

This morning we woke and Wayne has the flu-Yuck.
Everyone else except for Myself and Isaiah and of course sick boy went to little falls big falls.They hiked to the falls and jumped off the rocks.fished for salamanders and brought them home in an ice chest.Saw a bear and some deer.It was a great adventure.. Raima cracked us up when they all got back to camp he said they had went on a safari with survivor man (Brett). I had a good time at camp with Isaiah we cleaned up a bit and listened to music. I gave him a bath in the sink and he took a little nap while mom had a couple of Smirnoff Ice. It was a good day. Raima made tacos for dinner and Linda and I went in to town to get ice and Wayne some medicine.

July 20th

ok so here is the master plan. Raima took Brett's truck to work last night and Linda,Brett,Joshua,Isaiah and Myself are driving the truck and trailer to Lake Lopez. Wayne,Nicole,Tanner and caleb are following in their motorhome . Raima works in Lost Hills. So it is closer for him when he gets off work at 12 to drive from there straight to the lake. We arrived at the exact same time to the lake and set up our camps. the kids took a walk around the campground and we had rib-eyes for dinner and salad and garlic bread Yum-Oh. We built a camp fire and made smores. Laughed a lot and had a great time. Tomorrow is the little falls big falls hike. See you in the morning!!!!

JULY 19TH

Well my house looks like a hurricane hit it. We are packing and getting ready to go camping. Linda and I are going shopping groceries and some stuff for camping. Nikki is going to come by and bring dinner to Pappy every night we are gone. Thaks Nik. and we are very excited to get out of this heat and to the coast for some family fun.
